Cardinal’s Cove offers functional two-story living that's ideal for a true mountain getaway. This economical cabin experience is a great motel alternative and comes complete with rocking chairs and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. Venture out into the exterior covered stairs for funky private access to the lower level King bedroom. A queen sleeper sofa on the main level provides a second sleeping area, and a full bath on each floor makes for a practical stay. After a fun-filled day exploring the local surroundings, a soak in the jetted tub will relax you for a good night's rest in the king-sized bed. Wake up and find your new favorite place to be among the trees enjoying the simplicity of Cardinal’s Cove! This vacation rental is located in Black Mountain and is approximately 19 minutes to downtown Asheville.

Important Property Notes:
• A visit to the Village of Cheshire provides an authentic mountain experience with a convenient location. Please note there is no parking next to this cabin. Be prepared to encounter rough terrain such as steep, unpaved trails leading to your cabin and stone stairs when walking to your cabin from the parking area. Appropriate footwear and easy-to-carry luggage are strongly suggested. This cabin is not recommended for guests with mobility limitations due to the nature of the location.
• Please note; There is no internal staircase to the lower level bedroom at Cardinal's Cove. This is ONLY ACCESSIBLE by using a covered exterior 2-tiered set of stairs. If going outside to go between the main cabin and the bedroom level is an issue for your group, or if you have limitations concerning staircases please ask a Vacation Coordinator about the different floor plans that are available at the Village of Cheshire Cabins.
• While the cabin is surrounded by trees, this cabin is centrally located in the Black Mountain area and traffic can be heard from the nearby road, particularly during peak commuting hours and summer season.

• For any reservation with pets, please note that only dogs are allowed. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed on your reservation.
• Failure to pay the pet fee may result in the cancellation of your reservation.

The house was great! Very unique in it's structure but we loved the design! Very clean and had everything we needed! Nice big shower in the master bath! Lots to do nearby, lots to see, and a lot of nice restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Very clean! Thought having a bedroom downstairs and having to go outside to get there would be bad but it was actually neat. Very quiet. Highly recommended!!
