Situated at the south end of the Omni Amelia Island Resort grounds, with direct beach access and heated pool, this well-appointed home is absolutely perfect for your next family vacation, romantic getaway, or ladies' weekend. The first thing you’ll notice when driving into this exclusive gated community is the abundance of stunning, old white oak trees and Spanish moss, which form canopies over the roads and bike paths of the community. You will immediately feel in close touch with nature. Convenient parking meets you at the Shipwatch complex, where you will take stairs up to your new home-away-from-home.
From the entryway, you are welcomed into an open living room and dining area that overlooks the beautiful beach landscape and palm trees. Decorated in soothing blue tones and comfortable fabrics, this condo offers an array of amenities to ensure your every comfort, including a fully equipped and well-stocked kitchen with updated stainless steel appliances, flat-screen televisions, spacious seating and entertaining areas, and ocean-facing balcony, easy accessed from the main living area. This level additionally includes a bathroom.
The lower level of this home features three generously sized bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with large, comfortable beds and luxury linens. This property comfortably sleeps eight guests between the king-size master, king guest bedroom, and double bunkbed guest bedroom. We would also love to welcome your four-legged, furry family members (dogs up to 25 pounds) to explore the beautiful beaches, Historic Downtown area, or to walk the trails throughout this beautiful island.
All fresh linens and towels are provided for our guests. We also provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent. Beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella are also provided for you to use during your stay.
Just outside is the oceanfront heated pool (seasonally, October - February) and grilling area, just steps away from the beach. It is conveniently located close to the Omni Amelia Island Resort with a wide variety of dining and shops. After a busy day at the beach or the pool, stroll through the shops or spend some time at the full-spa facility. No matter the occasion, your party will undoubtedly plan future visits and create memories that will last a lifetime at the gorgeous Shipwatch complex.
Please note that accessing this condo does require walking up and down a minimum of half a flight of stairs. While there is an elevator at Shipwatch, it only stops between floors, which means that being comfortable with steps is a must to enjoy your stay here.
Please be advised, this property does not offer access to the Omni Resort privileges or amenities. Access to the main resort pool, fitness center, shuttle service, and Racquet Park (Drysdale) is restricted to only club members and their guests.
All RVs, trailers and boats are NOT allowed within the security gate. Please inquire for further details.
Pets under 50lbs are welcomed! No aggressive breeds and pet must be crated when guest is away from rental.
We also ask all guests to complete a registration form with Amelia Island Vacations through the secure site of DocuSign.

Nice view and the pool couldn’t be any closer . Layout was nice. Each room had its own bathroom and shower. It was quiet and comfortable plus an end unit. Very spacious and nice big closets. Washer and dryer a plus.

We enjoyed the Omni Resortlocation. Beds were comfortable, water was hot. Ample room for the three adults and one small dog. Facility had a large pool. Lodging is nice but showing a little age furniture was comfortable but dining table needs to be tightened or replaced before it collapses. Worst part was the elevator setup. It stopped at a level beteeen floors so you either had to haul luggage up a half flight or down one to get to the entrance.

We love coming to Amelia! We consider it our home away from home. Just a few things that i feel could be fixed at this location would be more cleanliness of the unit. Provide the guest with some dish detergent and laundry detergent. Dryer not functioning properly, might just need a good servicing. Beach umbrella downstairs was broken so we had to buy our own. Sink faucets leak There is no cable at this location. You have to use your own streaming services. For the price we paid per night, the unit needs some work.

We were very familiar with the Amelia Island Plantation and have stayed there many times with family. This particular condo had some problems:
-The entry door locks did not work properly and management did not get this resolved while we were there.
-The bathroom tissue holder in the master bathroom had fallen off the wall and needed repair/replacing
-Stairs were a problem. Other condos in the plantation allow you to use a luggage cart to transport luggage from your car to the elevator and then directly inside your condo. This condo is not suitable for older people. I am 67 and had a hip replacement.
-This condo was advertised as having been recently renovated. Who ever is doing your renovation work is a poor craftsman, at best. Also the maintenance man they sent out to help with the lock and bathroom was unskilled and did not know how to repair the items we discussed.
-We checked out one day early and I called Amelia Island Rentals and spoke to them about the problems and asked for them to discount the total rental cost by one day since we moved out early and I let them know early in the day on Friday. Their lack of response will prevent me from using VRBO or the rental agents firm in the future. You just lost a customer and many more in the future because of this rental. I have used VRBO in the past but will not do so in the future. You have too many competitors in the market to give sub par service.
-Had to pay too much $ up front for this stay with no recourse
