We had a lovely time! The weather even cooperated when we spent our day in Shipshewana! The house is clean and comfortable. In the April weather the heat kicked on while we were sleeping so we were toasty when we got up in the morning. I strongly suggest anyone considering the property to go for it. In a few weeks it will be patio weather and you can enjoy the lovely lakefront view. Beautiful home! The lake flooded, so fishing was tough with the dock under water. still very nice.

Wonderful stay. Living space and kitchen were well appointed. Bathrooms.were.spacious, but an extra towel rack or hooks upstairs would be helpful. Kayaks and fire pit were great. There is no sandy entrance to the water and it was kind of weedy/mucky, so swimming at the lakeside was not doable.

We enjoyed our stay. We were disappointed that the dock was so high. We couldn't dock our pontoon to it. Thankfully there was a ladder on the concrete wall that we used heavily. There needs to be more silverware (only had 4 forks) and more than one hand towel and dish rag. Peaceful place!
