Poipu Shores 102B is the destination for a once-in-a-lifetime Kauai excursion. The 500 square foot private lanai, exclusive only to this and the neighboring 1-bedroom unit, is the only one of its kind on the island. The lanai is cantilevered over the cove below, giving you front row access to Kauai's world-famous sunsets and sea life. You'll spend your days watching Hawaiian sea turtle families and spend your evenings watching Kauai's world-famous sunsets and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean right below you. Guests coming in the wintertime have an unparalleled view of the breeching Humpback whales and spinner dolphins just off the coast. Other guests are always respectful of the privacy of this lanai, whose access is gated off, meaning you'll have an exclusive vista of the south shore. You'll be enchanted by the views, the sounds, and splendor of Kauai's south coast from your unrivaled vacation home.
Inside the unit, you'll find an oceanfront condo with painstaking attention to detail. Owned by an architect and an artist, 102B is set up to be tasteful and welcoming thanks to central air conditioning, a lovely tropical layout, and top-of-the-line furniture. From the Shaker-style glass-fronted cabinets to the carved teak platform queen bed, you'll feel right at home in this completely remodeled and refurnished jewel of the south shore. Poipu Beach is a quiet and relaxing beach park that visitors, locals, and sea life (turtles, Hawaiian monk seals, and countless tropical fish) all call home. The moment we arrived and checked out the deck, we were thrilled to see that it was truly oceanfront, and the turtles were swimming right below us. The views are amazing, and there is also an oceanfront pool that we took advantage of. We had just stayed at a luxury hotel in Hanalei with no lanai, so it was such a great contrast to stay at this lovely condo, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room area, and 1.5 bathrooms. The check-in process was smooth, and we had great communication with our host. Next time we would love to return and stay even longer!

We enjoyed the location and the cleanliness of the property. Very comfortable for the two of us. We liked the small size of the overall property and listening to the ocean at night. The heated pool was right next to the ocean and never crowded. It’s a very quick stroll to the beach to see the turtles come in at sunset. Highly recommend.

This place is AMAZING. All of the photos and descriptions don't do it justice, and I would choose to stay here again whenever in Kauai. It's within walking distance to amazing beaches and views. The property itself is bigger than the pictures show, with plenty of room to stretch out for a couple. And the deck is the highlight, we spent every morning watching the sun rise, and every evening watching the sun set. Also saw too many whales to count, as well as groups of dolphins. Binoculars were available if you didn't bring your own. They also had a closet full of beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, etc...) I miss listening to the waves crash while drifting off to sleep, and can't wait to go back. When there was an issue with one of the windows malfunctioning, Parker quickly had it fixed with no issues, and made sure we had everything we needed. NOTE: In case you have mobility issues, be sure you can make it down the final flight of stairs to the condo, as there is no elevator and they are relatively steep.

This was a cool place to stay but it was quite outdated for the price. It had old couches, bed, appliances, etc. you couldn’t see out the windows because they were too cloudy. The blind in the bedroom was broken so there weren’t good views from your bed.
For the price it was I thought they could have put some money into renovating/ updating some of the amenities inside!
