This remodeled classic 50's craftsman style beach front cottage is ready for your enjoyment. In early 2024 I decided to rejuvenate the home in a way that harkened back to its mid century roots. Throughout the home are clear pine whitewashed floors and tastefully painted, original pine tongue and grove wall coverings. The kitchen and baths all have, maple cabinets with granite counter tops.
In the kitchen you will find all necessary appliances for your convenience including combination electric cook top/stove, dishwasher, 1000 watt built in microwave and refrigerator with ice maker. Each bathroom has maple cabinets with granite tops and period MCM faucets and fixtures. Each bathroom has a tub/shower combo for any family members specific bathing needs.
Featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, there is enough room for six of you and your family or friends to enjoy this beautiful location. Situated close enough to walk to major features of Carolina Beach, yet away from the noise, this home is perfect for those wanting an active site seeing schedule or night life. The property includes a beach front lot with beach badminton/volleyball court, watch the kids play without worry of auto or public foot traffic. Sit on the large deck and watch the day go by, see boats and dolphins on a regular basis. In the afternoons, the reclined built in bench will allow you to bask in the sun without missing a minute. A semi private outdoor hot and cold shower will allow you to rinse off after a long day on the sand.
When not out and about, relax inside on the plush period correct couch, love seat or private sitting chairs, watch TV on either of the two flat screen TV's or just sit back and relax while watching the waves crash on shore from inside. Our family of 5 stayed here for a week in July. The house had plenty of room for us to relax. The location is very convenient to the public beach access. It’s also off the main road and close to everything. A great ice cream/snack shop just across the street. The backyard was great for the kids just to play in the sand while grownups relaxed. Wear shoes closer to the house though because there are some prickly things coming from nearby plants . Everything worked great, A/C, water, appliances, internet. Small issue out of the freezer, but didn’t affect our stay and was brought up to the owner, who is very responsive. Overall, great place to stay for a relaxing vacation at the beach.
