Beachfront 2 Bed/1 Bath Apartment with Amazing View!

We had a nice long vacation stayed six nights. This place was perfect for my family. Basic beach house with basic needs with a wonderful path to beach. Quiet area away from all the hustle. A few things broke as we were there , host offered to fix asap and very responsive . Norfolk is a wonderful place to get away. So happy I found this on VRBO. * My only note to this property is if you have anyone over 75 years old , they may struggle to get in and up to the apartment or to the beach. Lots of steps and no railing. Just good to know for those of us that travel with older folks.

This place was roomy and the location was very relaxing. Love the beach access and feeling of privacy. Our family had a great time.

Great location! Awesome view!

The apartment is a nice renovated apartment. It is over 100 years old and definitely shows. The floor is pretty awful with how uneven it is. Close to the laundry room there is a soft spot where I thought I was going to fall through. The temperature while there on my stay was 93-95 and the AC would not cool the apartment lower than 72. The “master” bedroom so as also 10 hotter than the living room and we had to move the bed out to the living room because it was too hot. Also, there are only blinds. There are no curtains. Investing in the blackout curtains that can help control the heat would be a great investment. Also, there were only 3 towels to use when my stay was 3 nights. There were two guest staying. Yes there was a washer and dryer, but no soap or anything provided. I would have thought there would have been more towels provided.The walk to the beach was good. Would be better if they would take Time to trim the weeds/ bushes. When you walk to the beach you literally walking though the plants. The air filter needs to be changed!
