Heating & cooling: This charming 1951 home has central HVAC, but like many older homes, the front rooms can run a few degrees warmer on very hot days. To keep everyone comfortable, we've added extra floor vents, a portable A/C unit in the kitchen that you're welcome to use, ceiling fans in every room, and box fans. ★☆ GAME ROOM ☆★ A true highlight of the property, the detached air-conditioned game room offers additional living and entertainment space separate from the main house. Enjoy friendly competition with foosball and air hockey, stream your favorite shows on the 55" Smart TV, play video games, or relax on the oversized sectional after a day spent exploring Norfolk's beaches and attractions. ★☆ OUTDOOR SPACE ☆★ Enjoy the coastal lifestyle with easy beach access just across the street. Noise & smoke sensor: Per City of Norfolk short-term rental regulations, this home has a WYND Sentry sensor in the living room (plugged into a wall outlet behind the couch).
