Charming two-room apartment in Montmartre

This is a GREAT find on VRBO. Perfect location, well-equipped kitchen, everything you need to have a home away from home. Florence was very welcoming and sweet. All the reviews are accurate. Including the 3 story walk up with a beautiful winding stairway. If stairs are a problem it's good for you to know. Otherwise it's a perfect place! Highly recommend.

I'll begin this review by reiterating the same advice as others. This apartment is on level 3 of an older block of apartments and is accessed by a spiral staircase. There is no elevator. If you cannot carry your luggage upstairs then don't book hereThat's the only caveat for this place though. It is a tastefully renovated space with nice equipment - dishwasher, washing machine, electric stove. The bathroom has a shower only but it works well. The living area is spacious, clean and quiet - the double glazing is very effective but if you open the windows then get to hear the sounds of a busy street in Montmartre. It's a very nice place to stay in spring. The element that sits this apartment from many others is Florence, who lives in the same block. Her role is to greet you and introduce you to the apartment and Montmartre. She does this superbly - easy to get along with, accessible and responsive. Her recommendations on places to eat were excellent especially Mami Collette and the local bakeries. It was a very enjoyable place to stay

Outstanding location. Numerous cafes, bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. Metro station very close for easy access to all of Paris. Apartment had all of the amenities needed. Due to the close proximity of the cafes, the streets are very lively and noisy until early morning. Might be an issue for light sleepers but if you like to be in the heart of the action this apartment is awesome.

Super cute and clean place for us to stay in Paris for almost a week. It has all amenities that we needed such as washer, fully equipped kitchen, and fridge. The location is really convenient, about 1-2 minutes walk to a metro station and on a busy street with lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and especially bakeries! The host has welcomed and ensured we had everything we need for our stay. 10/10 would come back if we visit Paris again. Thank you!
