The Space:
Welcome to this 42m2, spacious and bright flat, next to the emblematic center of Montmartre, an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city. Just a few minutes away from Picasso's studio and the beautiful Sacré-Cœur basilica (7 min. walk). Taste Parisian nightlife with cabaret at the Moulin Rouge (10 min). Hip restaurants and bars are everywhere, and the Abbesses metro station is within a 4-minute walk.
With antique wallpaper and timber floors, our local interior designer has created a unique, charming space. Huge windows overlook the quaint streets below, and Art Deco-style furniture matches the vintage aesthetic of the neighborhood. A fully equipped kitchenette has everything you need for breakfast at home.
The apartment has a capacity for up to 4 people:
- Bedroom 1: 1 double bed
- Living room: sofa bed

*** TOURIST TAX & HOME ADDRESS ***
- The Paris administration charges a small fee to every guest staying in a tourism accommodation. The introduction of a tourist tax makes it possible to avoid having to bear the costs linked to tourist activity in the area solely on the local taxpayer. Thus, revenue from the tourist tax is entirely allocated to the development of tourism infrastructure and the promotion of the territory. The promotion of Parisian tourism is therefore directly financed by the tourist tax, paid by tourists, and not by local tax.
- This contribution is mandatory for all adult guests and is calculated based on a percentage basis according to the number of nights and night rates of your reservation. The maximum amount per person / per night is 15.93 EUR. You can check all the information at Taxe de séjour PARIS.
- National and International police demand that each guest, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00
Check-out time is at 11:00 (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of possible eviction and a deposit seizure up to 600€.
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. No smoking on interior areas.
6. If the garbage bin is full, please take it to the garbage room inside the courtyard. There is direct access to the courtyard from the apartment.
7. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
8. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Excellent communication from the host! Great location with dining, shops and sights within walkable distance! Comfortable and clean! Cozy really describes the unit much more than our expected spaciousness of 972 sq. ft., even inclusive of the entrance/terrace common to all the units.

The headline tells it all. With temps reaching 90 degrees in Paris, and with all the stairs and steps in Monmartre, a cool place to come home to was vital. This little apartment has a large bathroom and shower, two sinks. While the outside is a bit intimidating, once inside the gate, beautiful flowers make it lovely. There are a few little quirks, but the linens, towels, dishes and amenities are top notch. If you want quaint Paris with a view, this isn’t it. If you like clean, modern, AC and safety, stay here.

This review is actually for the 3 BR apartment by the same owner, in the same building. (We originally booked the 1 BR but were switched by the owner to the 3BR.) First, addressing items mentioned by others: 1. Yes there are stairs in the apartment but the VRBO information clearly states that and we booked in Montmartre, so we were expecting stairs. 2. Yes the upstairs neighbor can be a bit annoying (bouncing a ball?/awake late a night), but again, it's an authentic Parisian apartment, so we sort of expected that as well. 3. Yes, there is a bathtub in the master BR, however if you don't use it, you barely even notice it's there. Again, it's Paris so this will not be among the strangest things you see. All this being said, we have nothing but good things to say about our week in this apartment. The management company/staff are professional, prompt and extremely helpful. The locked outer gate and coded front door made us feel super safe. The location is perfect, 5 min walk to nearest metro stop and right out the front door is a small convenience store and a dog cafe (fun to people/dog watch as you come and go). The apartment is huge- especially for Paris so this would be an ideal place for a family to stay on vacation. The beds and linens are super comfortable and if you open the windows on Sunday mornings you can wake up to church bells ringing all around you. Fantastic VRBO!
