About this house rental
You are welcome at "Footprints in the Sand" in Arborgate! This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath house is a 3 story, upscale coastal casa with a Spanish style architecture. It offers a luxury vacation accommodation that is spacious enough to fit the whole family and some friends, too. The main living area has a fully equipped chef's kitchen with granite countertops and modern appliances. The island offers plenty of prep surface as well as additional seating. Walk outside to the back deck to enjoy grilling and watching for the Blue Angels to fly past. The main living area is an open floorplan with upscale casual furnishings in the living room and dining area. Check out the great front porch, perfect for watching the sunset streak the Western sky's pastel colors. There is a comfortable bedroom on the main floor and a convenient half bath. On the second floor, you will find a private master suite with a spacious, spa-like bathroom that features a garden tub, separate tile shower, granite double vanities, and large closets. The third floor features two spacious bedrooms that each offer comfortable beds and private full bathrooms. Two sets of twin over full bunk beds offer a fun bedroom for kids and teens, comfortable enough for adults too. This house is perfect for pampering yourself for a gulf getaway but is a wonderful setup for a large group of friends or family members.
Arborgate has a community pool and the sparkling Gulf of Mexico's beautiful white sand beaches are just a short walk or bike ride down the sidewalk. Public Beach Access 3 is located at the end of River Road and has facilities, but you are close enough to run back to the house if you forget your sunscreen. There is a public kayak launch on River Road so bring your kayak. One of Perdido's favorite waterfront restaurants is located right off of River Road. Put "Catching a sunset from Sunset Grille" on your Perdido Key Bucket List. Arborgate is a wonderfully convenient place, located in the heart of Perdido Key. It is close to shopping, restaurants, and attractions because Perdido Key rests right between Downtown Pensacola and Orange Beach. Lots to see and do - especially if guests take advantage of courtesy excursions offered by PKRM's Keys to Fun Program. Choose from Free Golf at the Arnold Palmer-designed Lost Key Golf & Beach Club (located next door), a Dolphin Cruise, a Sunset Cruise, Deep Sea Fishing, or visit OWA Amusement Park. Our family booked this beautiful place in late April for late May. It is so spacious, with a fully stocked kitchen, a garage for our sandy beach things, dog friendly, on a quiet little cul-de-sac. We had a dog beach within walking distance. Our daughter and her boyfriend rented bikes for the week and biked back and forth to the beach. The public beach access was fairly close and as long as you brought a good dose of patience, getting a parking spot wasn’t awful. All in all a 5 star trip for us.

Overall, I was pleased with the house, location, and ease of checkin. In fact, our property was available 2 hours before schedule checkin time. Upon entering the house, everything looked very nice. Upon further inspection, I found dried food/drink stains on several of the hard surfaces (dining table and coffee table). Luckily, I brought cleaning supplies from home and cleaned these areas myself. I also noticed the hand rails leading up the stairs were very stained and discolored. I was able to use an antibacterial wipe to clean these as well, and the grime came right off. The dining table was missing two chairs (later to be found in the garage with a note attached stating they were broken when another guest arrived more than a month be for me. Also, the bathroom plugs (all bathroom plugs) did not work when we arrived. I was able to speak with the rental company and this problem was resolved quickly. Staff was very attentive to my concerns regarding the electrical plugs.
