Velento Rentals Management
This Suite has a KING Bed with full Kitchen and with a KING bed and a queen futon. It is located in a small gated enclave of private homes and only about 50 yards to your beach area and swimming dock. This suite has a King bed and a queen futon in the studio style layout. There is a large swimming pool with comfortable loungers and shady Palapa shared with our other two units there. Beautiful garden and BBQ area.
Although this home is not directly beach front, it is on a private beachfront enclave property area and less costly than the front homes, a great value for just a few steps to the ocean. Throughout are modern island finishes, tiled floors, Belizean hardwood ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, linens, washing machine, Flat screen TV/DVD, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a large swimming pool with loungers.
The home is built of thick reinforced concrete floors and walls and to American/Canadian standards. The island breeze coming off of the ocean is refreshing on most everyday. This is a quiet area, only a 5 minute bike ride to town, close to many wonderful restaurants, local groceries, and tiki cabana bars.
Right on your door step is a tranquil palm grove with BBQ facilities including picnic tables and a giant Jenga game. Paddle boards and kayaks are available for free, Beer can be bought at the front desk by the bottle, the bucket or a whole case. You can also rent bikes and golf carts at the front desk or book tours with anyone of the many tour operators on the island for fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving or sunset sailing cruises, our staff are there to help. Bikes are available to rent at US $7.50 per bike, per day. Bikes are a great way to tour about the island...a wonderful adventure for most any age! We have children's bikes, child carriers, and cribs upon request.

Place had everything I needed. Great kitchen, comfortable bed. Really good location and lovely grounds. The staff including the people at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and really pleasant to see each day. I would definitely return

Took my 23 YO daughter to Belize for her birthday & to get PADI certified. The room was great (basically a large ground level studio with lots of windows looking over a tropical garden/play area with hammocks, giant Jenga, etc) very clean, well stocked, huge bed. The paddle boards are older, yet work just fine. There is a cafe and yoga studio right next door (good coffee) and to the R of the entrance there’s a guy selling street food. There is a path that pretty much runs along the beach that I loved taking to get into town (not a far walk- I walked in and out of town multiple times a day) but they rent bikes for $7.50/24 hrs. The staff were AMAZING. Shout out to Nitheria who was very helpful & friendly. Would highly recommend!

Overall the property was nice. The smell of the Sargassum was pretty bad here. In fact, the worst on the whole island. There are properties on either side that do not maintain it and it really puts a damper on their property. We arrived and the windows were open, and the whole place smelled of rotten eggs. Once the windows were closed and the AC on, it took about a half of a day to rid the smell from the property. We had to keep the windows and door shut while we were there. The rest of the island is doing a good job of keeping the Sargassum at bay, which was why it was so disappointing.
I reached out to the owners through VRBO, but never got a response. There was not clear instructions on where exactly this property was. If they had just said Palmetto, then it would have been simple to find. Instead we had a taxi driver take us to the other Velento property and charge us extra, when we literally could have walked from the airport. That's what we did on the way out. It was a 3 minute walk to the airport.
The place was clean, the staff very nice. The location was a bit far from town and any other restaurants. It would have been nice if the bikes were included with the rental and not extra for that reason. Several other resorts had bikes included. The complimentary kayaks and paddle boards were a nice touch, but it was super windy and hard to go far. Also hard to launch them with the murky water at the shoreline. The pools were like bathtubs, so not very refreshing.
