Everything was a little bit broken. The front door “had a trick to it” according to the leasing office. The A/C barely kept the space cold and we visited in 80 degree weather. The balcony had boards it felt like we were going to fall through. The bedroom window was held there with tape. The TV was more complicated than it should be in 2023 and the garbage disposal backed up into the sink whenever we ran the dishwasher. The bed sagged and the living room couch was more uncomfortable than not. The condo seemed clean except for the floors which were filthy. We ended up with a different vacation than planned. We were expecting to stay in Sandpiper between the condo, beach, restaurants but decided to stay out of the condo as much as possible. Destin has beautiful beaches and we liked Sandpiper Coves location and staff but we would definitely look for a different condo next time. This was one of the cheaper options and it totally shows it.
