About this apartment rental
Modern ground floor apartment close to amenities. Fully-refurbished and redecorated in 2025.
Enter through the communal hallway and into the apartment hallway.
To the left is the open plan living space with fully-fitted kitchen with new washer-dryer, dishwasher, under-counter fridge with ice box, new microwave, electric oven and convection hob. There's a one-cup machine and a Nespresso pod coffee machine too.
There's a sofa chaise which comfortably seats 3, occasional chair, new dining table with 4 chairs, 55 inch smart TV, books and games, and other useful extras to make your holiday easier.
Back through the hall into the king-size bedroom with bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, dressing table, occasional chair, 32 inch TV with smart apps, and patio doors onto the courtyard garden with private patio and seating for 2. Handy for the resort table tennis table too - we leave a set of bats/balls and a boules set for your enjoyment on the private lawn.
Also off the hall is a fitted shower room with large walk-in shower, and mirror with light/demister function.
Parking spaces opposite or round the corner on Sunrise Drive or Turnberry Drive.
Ideally located for the pub, shop, pool, gym, and pizzeria. This is also the closest apartment to the beach.
Room for baby too (travel cot and booster seat provided).
We also have a guest folding bed suitable for a child under 10 too so we can sleep 2 adults plus small child - please add on your booking if required.
We welcome up to 2 small dogs, although ask that they are kept off the furniture and not left home alone unless crated.
Note: As you are close to the pub and amenities, there is potential for some noise. If you want a more peaceful location, please consider Sea Air apartment near the meadows, or use the "quiet location" filter in the search filters.

I arrived at the Hideaway and was able to park right opposite the entrance to unload. I was pleased to find the accommodation wonderfully clean, compact but extremely well equipped and furnished.
All the equipment was easy to use and the central heating was on with instructions detailing how to use.
As we had a very cold spell with snow it was great to be able to come home to a warm space and to be able to dry wet coats.
The appartment was well situated to access all amenities such as pub, shop etc, though not noisy.
The bedroom has french doors to a small patio area should you be blessed with good weather, a lovely comfortable bed with pristine bedding.
I was very satisfied with everything.

We have stayed at The Bay before but this was the first time at The Hideaway. It has recently been fully refurbished to a very high standard and beautifully decorated. It's very clean and well kitted out with some thoughtful extras. We were able to park just across the road for the duration of our stay and the location is very convenient for all the amenities, the path to the beach and the grassy areas for dog walks. I even managed an early walk to the beach to catch the sun rise over the sea! We enjoyed a walk along the beach to Filey for lunch and a browse in the shops. There are plenty of places to eat and many that welcome dogs.

Stayed for 3 nights at the Hideaway on The Bay. The one bedroom apartment was ideal for what we wanted. It was very clean, extremely well furnished, in pristine condition and dog friendly.
The location of the Hideaway on the Bay was also very good and we had no problem finding a parking space. Even though it is opposite the pub you don’t hear any noise and it is in an ideal location for the shop and a short walk to the beach path.
We hope to return at some point in the future.

The Hideaway is a lovely apartment,very modern and immaculate,everything you need.
The only criticism we have is the shower unit is very good and large, except for people with poor mobility,there should be some grab rails in the unit as it is difficult getting in and out.
Would certainly recommend this apartment and we hope to go again.
