We stayed for the night for our 11th wedding anniversary. Holly is an amazing host, as soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and given a tour of Cowboy town along with how it came to be. Then shown our cabin which was so beautiful. It was quiet and private, there was a wedding the next day and even the preparation for that did not interfere with our stay. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice private escape. Thank you Holly

It was perfect for us! We really enjoyed the rustic cabin. We were happy we could bring our dog with us. It was the perfect spot to spend time with our son and grandson.

Whether you’re looking for a moment of peace or a place for a party, this location has it all. We stayed in the Riverside Cabin for a quiet night, but had a blast exploring Cowboy Town and petting the horses and kitties that roam the property. If you’re worried about it being too rustic for your taste, it is a very short walk to the Cowboy Town bathroom, the outdoor shower is incredible, and the cabin was totally clean. You can stay at any soulless hotel, but this place? This place has heart, and we loved our experience!

Property is beautiful. Trails, fishing pond were wonderful. Was very disappointed the flush toilet, kitchen area or water for washing was up a hill and quite a walk to get to. Was somewhat disappointed with the cabin. It is very rustic which was fine. With no water to wash up with, it was difficult to prepare any type of food, drinks or campfire treats. If you plan on staying bring camping equipment for cooking. Everything from paper plates, cups etc to paper towels to bug spray. There is nothing in the cabin but a 4 cup coffee pot. (No coffee/sugar or creamer, no filters and NO water) Cabin was somewhat clean but mouse droppings were on the counter. Windows were very dirty to look through with lots of bugs and spider webs. Did not want to open the windows. Bed was okay, not great. No comfy chairs to sit on to read or relax. Only hard wooden chairs, a glider on the front porch and a hard bench for the fire pit. There is no food options unless you drive into town which isn't far. The worst thing was while we were there trying to enjoy peace and quiet, the owners had people over on a Saturday to mow, weedwack and then ran a chainsaw from 1:00pm to 8:30pm. I can't say we will go back.
