About this house rental
Located on 1 acre of land in historic Cross Village, just a half mile from Lake Michigan and the beautiful Tunnel of Trees, this 1,100 square foot cottage balances modern comforts and conveniences while maintaining its vintage vibe. Enter through the front door and be welcomed into the cozy living room with maple flooring and a pellet stove for those colder nights. Enjoy your morning breakfast and the eat-in table area, and enjoy the vintage kitchen with original refinished metal cabinets and knotty pine details. The main level offers a renovated full bathroom, laundry room, and pantry area – all with cute tile details. Take the original (steep) staircase to the upstairs, divided into two sleeping areas, separated by a wall and door. There are two twin beds in the landing area and you step through the door to a queen-sized bed. Cozy and comfortable throughout the cottage. While you book the Little Pine Cottage for space and tranquility, you are still within walking distance to the famous Leggs Inn restaurant (closed during Winter), Petoskey Brewery (Closed during Winter), Black Barn Farm, and Three Pines Studio. Head to the Lake Michigan beach less than a ½ mile away or grab essentials at The Village Mart. Arrive, kick up your feet, enjoy meals on the outside patio, or start up a bonfire for late-night conversations!

Perfect weekend getaway love Cross Village is perfect place to get to the parks relax or do day trips in the area. House was great had all the amenities we needed. Could be inside the house chilling and watch the wildlife outside and relax from excursion to the Dunes etc. Definitely recommend.

Charming little home in the woods - half mile walk to the beach was great - nicely renovated. Grounds and lawn needed some love but otherwise as advertised - we would book again if in the area.
