Located in a private forest of 8 hectares, this chalet will offer you a feeling of seclusion and will bring you peace and tranquility.
Le Cheminot is a former hunting camp transformed into a comfortable chalet, combining a vintage style and the simplicity of yesteryear: wood stove, card games and books will be your best entertainment after your outdoor activities.
For your greatest comfort, the chalet offers:
General:
- WIFI (we still offer a very good connection for those who would like to extend their stay by teleworking in this paradise!)
- board games and playing cards
- high chair for baby
- wood provided for the indoor stove
Kitchen:
- dishes, utensils, pots, pans and baking dishes
- filter coffee machine and kettle
- cooking oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices
Bedrooms & bathrooms
- 1 queen bed, 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed
- linen, bath towels and full bedding
- shampoo and shower gel
Outdoor:
- huge playground with natural slope for winter slides
- trails (under construction)
- outdoor terrace with garden furniture

Marie's place definitely has the cute rustic charm and is comfortable and well equipped. We especially appreciated the cooking utensils, seasonings, and coffee that were thoughtfully prepared. The fireplace is easy to use and firewood is provided, too. Lots of good seating options in the living area. We enjoyed our stay.

Cosy, clean, and comfortable. Terrific hosts. Go to sleep with the sound of a small river, wake up with the sound of birds.

30 degrees plus humidex without air conditionning (this one is my fault, I didn't search to see if there was some), Outdoor BBQ small and so old that we had to go buy a cast iron pan to cook our steak, no kleenex,Hose broken = no water!, no fly swatter,the fireplace outside small and very rusted,it is expensive since nothing to do in summertime in Mansonville...Inside the chalet it was very clean and we loved the 3 patio doors in the bedroom.
