Winter at the cabin is peaceful and scenic. Soft white fairy and café lights create a warm, welcoming retreat after a day outdoors. Enjoy ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, winter hiking, sledding, or snowball fights. Snowmobiles can be rented in town, with access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Or stay in and prepare a hearty meal in the upscale kitchen, play games, and watch shooting stars reflect over the frozen lake.
Summer at the Lake
(April–November, weather permitting)
In warmer months, the cabin truly comes alive. Step onto your private dock and enjoy lake days filled with kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, fishing, and swimming. We provide a canoe, kayaks, and paddleboards for guest use, seasonally and weather permitting. Spend long days on the water or simply relax lakeside while taking in uninterrupted mountain and lake views.

It was a truly wonderful property. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is an honest lakefront with a dock, multiple kayaks, paddleboards, and a canoe. It was my wife, our two boys, and me, and we had a glorious time unwinding. A wonderful host also. Thank you so much.

We had a awesome stay at the Lake. The cabin was clean, plenty of amenities and everything we needed. Patty was very communicative when we had questions and our kids loved the paddle boards and kayaks.

We are frequent travelers to GL and love it! There is lots of noisy construction next door and difficult parking for two trucks because of narrow road. The cabin is well appointed and the host is very responsive! Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with our family.

Everything as pictured. Good communication with host. Got a little lost on our way but that was our fault for not following the hosts instructions. Google Maps takes you to the wrong place so make sure to read the message the host sends you.
