Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, shuffleboard, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination! Note: there are no facilities at Ocean Dunes for charging golf carts. Ocean Dunes covered parking is not suitable for large SUVs, please seek a first come first serve visitor parking spot for large vehicles. Always use your parking pass!

The Rec Center pool is open year-round with the exception of holidays or for any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and lying on the end of the beds.
Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.
Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.
Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.
Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.
Cancellation Policy:
We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

We recommend exploring Carolina Beach and Kure Beach on foot or by bike – they're super walkable and bike-friendly. You'll find safe pedestrian and bike routes, including the Island Greenway. Renting a golf cart or bike is easy, too, with several local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Rentals are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.

We will rent it again. My only complaint was that the master bedroom did not have the correct fitted sheets and we felt they should supply us with paper towels and toilet paper for the week.

We were happy with the location and the unit was very well appointed and cute. However, it was filthy upon our arrival. The carpets had been vacuumed but, there was still lots of sand on the hardwoods. The kitchen was very dirty. Nothing had been wiped down. The fridge was dirty, cabinets were dirty with spills down the front. Bathroom tubs were grimy. Used q-tips were in the trash can in the first bedroom. One of the sliding glass doors was broken. Our coffee maker had sediment coming out. (They did replace it. After we went out and bought one). The communication with whomever we spoke to concerning the cleaning was lacking. They were to get in touch with the houskeeping manager but, we never heard a word back. We bought cleaning supplies and spent a good 4 hours cleaning everything ourselves. Not how I wanted to start off our family vacation, but, after that was done we felt pretty comfortable.
