About this cabin rental

Secluded and private 6 acres on Keller Bay surrounded by saltwater lakes. 40ft Forrest River Sandpiper Destination RV with memory queen foam bed, two queen sofa beds and a 4 person table. Sleeps 6. Lots of extra camping space for 16 guests in tents and/or garage area.

360ft private fishing pier with fishing lights that attract trout and redfish nightly.

Barn with spare rods and reels for fishing, fish cleaning bench.

Boat Ramp and small community park adjacent to property

Additional outdoor cooking, shower and toilet area behind the barn.

Great Kayaking and boating location for water skiing.

We had a great week of fishing. Had a lot of rain during our stay which wasn't that fun but we still caught a lot of fish. Used the crab trap at night to catch crab to then use during the day to use as bait to catch huge black drum off the dock. Most of the nights the guys were able to almost limit out on trout as well as catching a few small reds (not keepers) and even a flounder. The property is very quiet and we loved that part. I did decide that I'm not much of a fan of RV camping myself (RV toilets are just weird.... And anytime someone moves I felt like I was on a boat) but the guys found no issues with it. The full size kitchen was nice and needed with the closest town, Port Lavaca, about 25 minutes away. Overall we had a fantastic time and would go back.

The location was very nice. The RV was nice, besides the knat situation. The outdoor barn and bathroom was not clean and didn't meet expectations. I didn't like all the surveillance cameras either. I felt it was invasion of privacy.
