Come and enjoy a moment of relaxation in the heart of Normandy. This beautiful Normandy thatched cottage "la folie normandie" will charm you with its authenticity and its large garden of 7000m². This property is ideal for family reunions or a stay with friends.
It is only 15 minutes from Honfleur, 25 minutes from Deauville, 10 minutes from Pont l'Évêque and 45 minutes from the D-Day landing beaches.

The property is composed of the main thatched cottage and an annex
The cottage includes a double living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, oven, classic coffee maker, Nespresso capsule coffee maker, raclette and fondue machine for 12 people, washing machine, iron....) a bathroom with toilet and a shower room on the first floor. The first floor consists of a double bedroom with 1 bed 160x200, two bedrooms with 1 single bed and 1 armchair with mattress per room, and a toilet.
The annex consists of 2 independent bedrooms with private access per room. One of the bedrooms has 1 double bed and a private shower room with WC.
The other room is a family room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. This room also includes a private shower room and separate toilet. We leave at your disposal a Ping Pong table, balls, a badminton net, board games.

Cleaning fee to be added for the stay = 150€ to be paid on arrival.

Family of 5 with 3 young adults and a dog spent a lovely July period at the property. The huge and well kept enclosed garden was paradise for our dog (and for us). The property is close to lots of nice places: towns, villages and nature. We rented bikes, which was a great way to get around with lots of tracks starting at the property. We had leisurely breakfasts at the large outdoor picknick table- no mosquitoes, no wasps, only lovely butterflies. When the weather was less warm there was a large table indoors.
The cottage is well equipped, with all you need.
Three bedrooms are in the main cottage (first floor), with a toilet on that floor. The bathroom and shower are on ground floor, next to the kitchen.The small house next to the cottage has two large bedrooms , each with their own ensuite modern bathroom/shower.
The host is very kind and helpful and responds to any questions right away. The gardener is also very friendly and helpful.
All in all we had a lovely holiday at this property and would highly recommend it, especially to dog owners and nature lovers (the owner even bought a dog food tray and some playing balls for our dog!).
