We had a fantastic stay at La Grande Ferme in Crepon. Highly recommend!!! The property is part of a 17th century Normandy courthouse farm. The owners have renovated the apartment to include modern kitchen and baths with high quality finishes, but kept all of the historic charm that made it special. It is conveniently located just a few km from beach towns with loads of restaurants. Creully sur Seulles to the south was a non-touristy charming Normandy village with shopping, cafes, and boulangeries. Close to Bayeux and all of the World War II sites, and we even made a very easy daytrip to Mount St Michelle with stops along the way. You will definitely need your own car.The owner also runs an Inn right around the corner called Le Manoir De Mathan (where you will check in to Grande Ferme). You are invited to join the inn guests for drinks or breakfast if you choose. If the particulars of this apartment don't work for you (it is on 3 levels) I recommend you contact the inn. The owner has many configurations and will help you find the accommodations that will fit your family's needs.
