Villa for rent in Tuscany near Arezzo.
Located on top of a small hill, set in beautiful unspoiled Tuscan countryside you will find the lovely Villa Ulivi.
The property is just within walking distance from the charming medieval town of Lucignano.
This beautiful, private property offering 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms between the main house and the annex, commands amazing views from its terraces and gardens stretching all the way across the Val Di Chiana taking in Castiglion Fiorentino and Cortona.
The Villa has recently undergone total renovation, furnished in very good classic Tuscan taste and yet offering every modern comfort.
This property consists of "Villa Ulivi" and the annex "Casina" and are rented as one property. If your group is eight or less and you don't need the annex "La Casina" it will not be rented during your stay so the property remains private for your group only.
The property, thanks to its spacious interiors and its large exteriors, guarantees a pleasure and safe stay. All the areas, including the swimming pool, are carefully sanitized and sterilized for the health and tranquility of guests.
Distances: Nearest village: Lucignano 650 mt (groceries, restaurants, shops and other services), Arezzo (train station) 30 km, Montepulciano 30 km, Cortona 35 km, Siena, 40 km, Orvieto 85 km, Florence 100 km.
Although immersed in peace and quiet, the A1 Motorway is just 15 minutes drive, connecting you to all-important tourist destinations.
At guests' disposal:
- A wonderful and private pool (12 x 6 mts; depth 1.2/1.5 mts)
- Wi-Fi internet connection
- portable BBQ in the garden.

Extra Services: dinners & cooking classes available at owners villa which is located on the same property but with plenty of distance between villas to maintain your privacy. The owners speak very good English and can arrange for tours, wine tasting or wedding arrangements. Also cooking classes can be arranged at the owners villa. The owners live about 400 m from the villa. You will be guided to learn the secrets for cooking italian dishes, expecially the one's of the tuscan tradition: You will learn how to make pasta with your hands like tagliatelle, pappardelle, pici, ravioli, tortellini and maccheroni, traditional tuscan dishes like panzanella using bread and vegetables (cucumber tomatoes, onions and fresh basil), tuscan crostini, the secrets to cook perfectly our chianina t-bone on bbq and traditional italian desserts like tiramisu' and "panna cotta" with strawberries and chocolate.

Villa Ulivi (about 250 sqm)
Ground floor: entrance from the terrace into a large open room that has the kitchen (stove, refrigerator, oven and dishwasher) and dining room and at the other end a sitting area with fireplace, 2 bedrooms and two travertine marble bathrooms with shower and with heated towel racks.
First floor 2 bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms with shower and one with a lovely balcony.
Annex La Casina (about 150 sqm)
Two levels villa with wooden beams, tuscan floors, travertino baths and beautiful decor. This newly restored Casina is a wonderful separate villa for four persons
Ground floor: queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, twin bedroom with two large single beds with ensuite bath with shower. Both bedrooms have spectacular views of the beautiful Valdichiana valley and the town of Lucignano.
First floor kitchen and living area, bathroom with shower.
Outside: porch overlooking the pool for your relaxing moments where you can enjoy dining on a great patio for 12 under a gazebo.
The following might be to be paid extra: Air conditioning, Bed Linen and Towels (additional set), Final Cleaning, Heating, Pool towels, Refundable Security Deposit in cash, Tourist tax.

Great location, very comfortable home. Loved staying there enjoying the house and grounds as much as using as a central location to explore Tuscany. Kitchen is on smaller side but open to dining area so easy to use. The property is more beautiful than photos show and the town is a short walk away - beautiful in the morning and evening. Host was helpful with recommendations and making reservations.

We rented villa Ulivi for week 30. Magical place where you get to experience the best of Tuscany. The house, the pool and the view were absolutely incredible. The owner Lilly recommended a winery that was the highlight of the week. 6 out of 5 stars. We are super satisfied ????????

We had a very pleasant stay in Villa Ulivi. There are two houses with a total of 6 bedrooms. Both houses are in good condition and cosy. The location of the villa is superb. There is plenty of space on the property and a nice view. The best thing about the location is the short walk to the village of Lucignano, which is a very cozy little village on top of a hill. There is a baker, a butcher, a pharmacy, a small grocery store and a few other small shops. There are several restaurants and cafes. It only takes 10-15 minutes to walk to town. Lucignano is not very touristic and very cozy.
We missed air conditioning in the houses as it was very hot during the period we were there. It would also have been nice to have the option of more shade around the pool. There were no parasols.
There was a very nice maid who came several times a week and checked the pool and took away the rubbish. The person who was not very nice, however, was the old lady who met us at the start of the rental period and to whom we returned the keys at the end. She was very unhelpful with inquiries both before the visit and during the visit. It took 2 days to fix the internet which was not working on arrival. We never got an answer to where you could turn on various outdoor lights and other small things that you wondered about along the way. This old lady, who is possibly the owner, is clearly fed up with her job.
But this did not spoil the stay for us. We had a very nice time.

Property is lovely and better than the pictures! Beautiful views across the countryside and the pretty little town of Lucignano on the hilltop. Owner was very accessible and provided helpful tips about the area and restaurant recommendations. Perfect property for a family or group with lots of space for everyone.
