Wish we could have stayed a month. Peppino was so easy to work with, responded promptly and kept in touch to make sure everything was okay. They had a bowl of fruit, fresh bread and other food in the fridge and pantry, ready for us to nibble or make a meal. The house had everything we need, included the sound of waves all day and night (if the windows are open), very quiet if windows are closed. The neighborhood was very comfortable. We walked everywhere, ate in different restaurants every day. The pictures on VRBO listing are spot on, it is cute, cozy and comfortable.

Our stay at this sweet fisherman’s cottage on the beautiful island of Ischia was lovely. Situated right on the small-kid-friendly beach of Spiaggia dei Pescatori, the cottage was quaint and authentic — full of character and charm. It was exactly what we needed for a peaceful family getaway, and a perfect staging point to explore the island. Peppino our host was super responsive and helpful, and went out of his way to ensure a pleasant stay. It was a relaxing few days, and we’ll look forward to returning!

A charming, cute and lovely sized house for us. With all the amenities and facilities that you could wish for in a self-catering place.
We were very impressed with the provisions - eg, cooking utensils, beach towels, deck chairs, beach bags, herb garden etc.
Kitchen had gorgeous views. Property was tastefully decorated, providing many little homely touches.
Beware, there are stairs up to the house and up to the mezzanine bedroom floor. Bathroom is on this floor and has a sloped ceiling, but we quickly got use to it.
The house is the most photographed property on the beach! The pretty potted plants and flowers added to the charm. So did the added daily activities of the local fisherman tending their boats outside our windows.
We were lucky to have been introduced to a lovely enthusiastic female taxi driver called Loredana. Not only did she provide transport to the port, but provided an excellent 3 hour introduction tour to Ischia island. This gave us a glimpse of what was available and where to return to for our day trips. Her local knowledge and stories about Ischia were very entertaining.
Communication with Peppino and Francesco were faultless. They were friendly, thoughtful and helpful. Nothing was too much for them.
We would definitely return!
