The host was incredibly helpful in allowing us to drop off our bags before check in with almost no notice! If you’re very tall just be careful in the bathroom, the ceiling by the toilet is low/slanted. The property is super cute, right on the beach as indicated, and offers two beach chairs to use for laying out which was a nice touch! The bus stop is a 4 min walk, and about a 20 min walk to the Aragonese castle, which you can see from the apt over the water! Just gorgeous overall. My friend also left her Apple Watch and the host generously offered to ship it back and really went above and beyond to help her, so we are very grateful! Highly recommend this place!

Our Beach House stay was wonderful. From first booking of the property Peppino, the host, was in communication with me to ensure our stay would be seamless. He ensured that we would be met at the ferry by his trusted Taxi driver, Loredana. She was available to take us on a tour of the island or to any place we wanted to go. Peppino arranged for his brother to meet us at the house upon our arrival. Francesco took us through the house to explain how to use all available appliances. He also showed us the fresh produce, bread, wine, eggs, butter, jams and bottled water he so generously provided for our use. This was more than any host from VRBO or other rental homes have provided during past stays.The Beach House was just as described in VRBO and the photos were identical to the house. Honestly this house was set up so well that the guests have everything they could need during their stay. All furnishings were well taken care of and serviceable. It felt like we were at home. The location couldn't have been better, right on the beach. Although it wasn't beach weather we did enjoy walking on the beach and watching the fishermen preparing their boats for the summer season. The house was just a short walk to the bus stop that took us into the center of Ischia Porto where we could take a bus basically anywhere on Ischia. We got a 4 day bus pass and traveled all over Ischia. During our stay Peppino and Francesco checked on us often to ensure all was well. Perfect hosts!!!!

Wish we could have stayed a month. Peppino was so easy to work with, responded promptly and kept in touch to make sure everything was okay. They had a bowl of fruit, fresh bread and other food in the fridge and pantry, ready for us to nibble or make a meal. The house had everything we need, included the sound of waves all day and night (if the windows are open), very quiet if windows are closed. The neighborhood was very comfortable. We walked everywhere, ate in different restaurants every day. The pictures on VRBO listing are spot on, it is cute, cozy and comfortable.

Our stay at this sweet fisherman’s cottage on the beautiful island of Ischia was lovely. Situated right on the small-kid-friendly beach of Spiaggia dei Pescatori, the cottage was quaint and authentic — full of character and charm. It was exactly what we needed for a peaceful family getaway, and a perfect staging point to explore the island. Peppino our host was super responsive and helpful, and went out of his way to ensure a pleasant stay. It was a relaxing few days, and we’ll look forward to returning!
