About this villa rental
Beautiful private villa with swimming-pool situated in panoramic location on the Tuscan hills, between Florence and Siena. This splendid property has been recently restored preserving its original architectural features and has been turned into an elegant villa sleeping up to 16 people and an adjoining outbuilding for 8 people (rentable upon request only together with the main villa) allowing a total number of 24 guests. Both the villa and the outbuilding are tastefully furnished and offer spacious and extremely comfortable interiors.
This property provides all comforts and is an ideal destination for those who wish to spend a relaxing holiday in close contact with the surrounding landscape.
Distances: the charming small town of Barberino val D’Elsa with all kinds of shops 3 km away, Poggibonsi (railway station) 7 km, Florence (airport) 38 km away, Siena approx. 40 km, San Gimignano 19 km away, Volterra 47 km, Pisa (airport) 85 km away.
At guests’ disposal: large panoramic garden offering beautiful furnished terraces and pergolas, private swimming-pool (8 x 16 m – maximum depth 2,3 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09) with Jacuzzi area and swimming-pool for children (diameter 8 m - ), dress-room with sauna and toilet, table tennis. Laundry with ironing facilities. The villa is provided with fast internet connection (ADSL) and air-conditioning.
Large covered parking space (garage for 8 cars).
Extra services: Baby bed available upon request (free of charge). By arrangement: cooking classes, breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Baby-sitting available upon request.
The rental price includes 3 hours maid service every day.

Ground floor: large living area (satellite TV) accessible via a large furnished terrace.
2 steps lower: dining-room with fireplace and access on to the outside, well-stocked kitchen (freezer, 2 ovens, dishwasher, microwaves, ice maker, barbecue), storeroom.
2 steps lower: twin-bedded room with ensuite bathroom with shower and access on to the outside.
1st floor: living-room (satellite TV) with access to 4 double bedrooms and 2 twin-bedded rooms. All of the bedrooms are provided with ensuite bathroom (3 bedrooms have a bathroom with shower, 1 with bathtub and 2 bedrooms have a bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub).
2nd floor: double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower.
All of the bedrooms have satellite TV and the twin-bedded rooms can be turned into double bedrooms.
Outbuilding 250 m2
The outbuilding can be rented only together with the main villa; if not requested, the outbuilding will be closed. Prices are upon request.

My wife and I along with six other couples had the privilege of staying in the Villa Petrognano the week of May 7 through May14, 2022and it was the highlight of our three week trip to Europe. This property is stunningly beautiful a meticulously maintained. The photos on the website cannot capture its essence-the property far exceeded our expectations. The owner Claudia, was welcoming, accommodating and
an absolute pleasure to work with. The chef, Leonardo and his staff treated us to a culinary delight on our final night at the villa. We would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a wonderful Tuscan experience for a group of family or friends.

Myself, along with my husband and a group of twelve others had the opportunity to stay in this lovely villa. It was like walking into a movie....absolutely breathtaking. All the rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and the grounds were wonderful. We enjoyed the pool, veranda, and everything about this villa. Claudia, the owner was such a lovely lady and very helpful to us. If you ever want to take that Tuscan vacation this is the place to stay. You will not be disappointed. It is a place that we would stay again and again.

The villa was beautiful and the area was as well. The owner, Claudia, was extremely helpful. The caretaker/chef, Monica was incredible..so much so that we had her cook for us every night for the whole week we were there. There was nothing she couldn't do! She made our visit a delight. We had rented another villa in 2007 in Lucca and didn't think it could be surpassed. Well thanks to Monica's presence and the villa itself, it more than surpassed Lucca, it set a new standard. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone as an unforgetable experience.
