About this house rental
Have a quiet weekend getaway or fun with the whole family at this stylish lakeside retreat. With two full bedrooms, a bunk room and two and a half baths, there is plenty of room for the family or a group of friends. This lake cabin has a private dock with deep water, propane grill, two large decks, and beautiful views.
Nestled on a bluff overlooking Lewis Smith lake, our modern cabin is the perfect getaway for a family, group of friends, or a couple looking to have a relaxing time on the lake for a weekend or for the whole week. We have stairs that lead to a two slip dock, that any guest can use with year round water on our area of the lake. Our kitchen is stocked with all dishes or utensils that you would need to prepare any dish.
A Few Things Before You Arrive,,,
The last mile is down a gravel road. GPS usually takes you past the house since this is a new construction. The house is the first one on the right after the gravel road forks. There is a sign in front of the house that has the house number on it. The code for the door is on the reservation instructions. A few house rules. Please only flush regular toilet paper down the toilets. We are on septic and anything but regular toilet paper that is provided will be bad for our plumbing. Please advise all guests of this rule. Also, the lake house is high on a bluff, so please no sitting or standing on railings on the porches. We want all of our guest safe. Smoking or vaping of any form are not allowed indoors. We asses a $350 fee if there is any evidence of smoking or vaping inside the house after checkout. Any trash that is placed in the trash bins at the end of the driveway MUST be in a garbage bag. If trash is placed in the bin that is not in one of the plastic trash bags provided, our trash service will not pick up the trash. Please keep blankets and comforters in the bedrooms where they are located at arrival. Also, please do not take blankets or comforters out to the fire pit. Please, no sitting on the living room and dining room furniture wet. Thank you so much for booking and if you have any questions, just let me know. Enjoy your time at the lake!

No cellular service, but everything was wonderful. No supplies needed. The host was so patient and communicative as well.

Our host gave us helpful check-in instructions on how to get our code for the door, as the cell reception is not the best up near the house. When we arrived, the house was clean and welcoming. Plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, and there was even some fire wood already out for the fire pit. The view from inside the house and from the deck was awesome. The wifi was great and plenty fast enough when needed. The propane grill works great, there were even back up full tanks if needed. Down by the water the dock was nice and had a ladder for water access. We also caught some blue gill/sunfish off the dock. Also there are hundreds of perfect skipping rocks on the bank we skipped rocks for an hour it seemed like. Almost like a sandy rocky beach that the kids used to play in the water. Our host was quick to respond with any questions. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we will definitely be coming back. Checkout instructions were a breeze. 10/10

This was our mini honeymoon stay, and by far, this is one of the absolute BEST places we’ve ever stayed at. The place was phenomenal. Everything was very clean and just perfect. Easy communication with host and very flexible with check in/out timing. We had our wedding at a venue close to the property, and they were very generous in letting us check in early to get ready for the wedding. This place also has one of the best views, very private as well.We will definitely be back and would love to celebrate our anniversary at the same spot next year! Highly recommend. *Just make sure you load up on groceries, closest convenience store is about 20mins away and doordash/uber eats is not always available in the area.
