We loved our stay at August Schmidt. We have stayed here several times before. It is incredibly peaceful and quaint. We did not use the hot tub this visit but have used it in the past. We will definitely come back

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this charming country cottage. The home had a cozy, rustic feel and was the perfect size for two. The grounds were absolutely beautiful — we loved sitting on the porch and spotting some of the local wildlife. It’s an ideal choice for anyone seeking a peaceful country escape while still being just a short drive from downtown Fredericksburg.
