About this apartment rental
The elevator takes you to the first floor, so you don’t have to climb any stairs with your suitcases or bags—a great way to start your vacation. A short walk down the hallway and you’ll find yourself in front of Apartment 136, a vacation rental measuring about 40 square meters.
Open the door and step inside—a small kitchen with a ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a coffee maker, a kettle, and a toaster is on your right. The cabinet contains plenty of cutlery and dishes. There is no oven.
A few steps further and you’ll find yourself in the light-filled living room, with its comfortable couch. And when the weather’s bad, you can enjoy the LCD TV with satellite connection.
You can also read a book you’ve brought along or one of the books provided—either on the sofa or in the comfortable rattan chair.
Once the balcony door is open, it won’t be long before the call of the seagulls puts you in a vacation mood. From early afternoon until evening, the sun shines on the large balcony. There are also comfortable lounge chairs where you can enjoy the evening after a day at the beach. A parasol provides shade when needed. You can also enjoy breakfast on the quiet balcony.
And if you’d like to have breakfast “out and about,” you have a choice: either in the village of Kalifornien (about 800 meters away) or at Café Klönschnack, right next to the Ostseeklinik (about 200 meters away).
And when night falls, make yourself comfortable in the bedroom on the double bed (140 cm x 200 cm). You can store your clothes in a spacious closet.
The bathroom is spacious. A cabinet for your personal items is available, as is a hair dryer. You can wash your vacation laundry for free in the washing machine.
Of course, the apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi, which is available free of charge.
There is a lockable bike storage room for any bicycles you bring with you. You’ll find a bike rental shop near the beach.
You can park your car for free in the parking lot across the street.
By bus—the bus stop is not far away—you can reach downtown Kiel within 50 minutes.
In addition to the rental price, a visitor’s tax is required. For guests 18 years of age and older, this ranges from €1.50 (March 15–April 30 and October 1–October 31) to €3.00 (May 1–September 30) per person per night.
You can purchase the visitor’s cards at the Tourist Information Office.
In exchange, you’ll receive the OstseeCard, which allows you to use the beach as well as some public transportation and enjoy other discounts.
