This terrific 2 bedroom, 1 bath upper apartment of a duplex has newer flooring, kitchen and bathroom! Near one of Newport's best surfing beaches and just steps to sand.

114 42nd St B is professionally managed by Newport Beach Vacation Properties. This terrific 2 bedroom, 1 bath upper apartment of a duplex has upgraded flooring, kitchen and bathrooms. Near one of Newport's best surfing beaches and just steps to the sand. The perfect beach house for a family vacation. Only 4 houses from the sand. It has been professionally decorated and fully furnished with everything you need for your home away from home.
Entering the front Dutch door, you step into the living room with vaulted ceilings, living area and a flat screen TV. Heading toward the front of the property, you will find a sliding door leading to a patio with a bbq, table, chairs and umbrella.
Stepping back in the property there is a quaint dining table just off of the all-white, newly remodeled kitchen. Stacked laundry unit is just off the living room, a convenience not always found in beach homes.
2 bedrooms each with queen beds and 1 full bathroom in the hall way. No sleeper sofa.
1 parking spot in a shared garage with the front lower unit. The garage is very small and tight. COMPACT CARS ONLY, larger cars will have to find street parking. Only 2 small cars will fit and even then it will be a tight fit. Additional free parking be found on the surrounding neighborhood streets but can be challenging sometimes at the beach.
As our guest, enjoy complimentary local experiences curated to help you make the most of Newport Beach. Activity offerings are seasonal and may include whale watching, harbor cruises, E-BIKE rentals, kayaks & paddle boards, and electric boat rentals.
Other Important Details:
- Thanks to our cool coastal breeze, most Newport Beach homes do not have air conditioning (AC). Every home comes with fans so you can open the windows and enjoy the beach air like a local. If AC is important to you, please double check if it is listed as an amenity.
- Parking is provided at your rental unit. However, we cannot guarantee your vehicle will fit in the designated spot, so you may need to find street parking. Street parking can be impacted due to proximity to the beach.
- We do our best to stay on top of any remodels or construction happening near our properties, but construction can pop up in the City of Newport Beach without notice. By city rule, construction is only permitted Monday through Friday, 7am to 6:30pm.

-This is an upper unit above the garage. You must climb a flight of stairs to access unit. Unit itself is all one level.
-You get 1 parking spot in a shared garage with front lower unit. It's a very small and tight garage. Only 2 small cars will fit and even then it will be tight. Additional free parking be found on the surrounding neighborhood streets if your car does not fit. Parking is sometimes a challenge at the beach.

Property was as listed. Very clean, functional, comfortable and ideal location. Short walk to the beach, close to parks and close proximity to many places to eat. We have rented in Newport for many years and this property is definitely one we'll consider for future stays.

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The place was just ok. If you are looking for good location this is the place. Beware- it has no AC (which was disclosed) but it is HOT! There wasn’t much of a breeze that came through the windows and the front sliding glass door needs some work to be able to open it. The pictures of the place look much better than it is. Needs work. It was fine for what we needed it for, sleeping, otherwise we really weren’t there.
