About this house rental

My house is close to Hillsdale shops, bus lines, 10 minute drive to Downtown Portland, 2 miles to Veterans and OHSU Hospitals. Walk to the Library - Hillsdale bakery, Starbucks, ice cream store, game store, over a dozen restaurants, food carts. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, the convenience and people. My house is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Tesla Electric Car Charger and 220v NEMA 14-50 outlet on premises. The living room has a Roku TV, a sofa and 2 reclining chairs. If you have questions about the size of your group please contact us. The gourmet kitchen has most everything you will need. To entertain you there is Roku TV, free Wifi and a large collection of board games, and some puzzles.

Due to allergies of resident only non-shedding dogs allowed on premises.

I live with my father in the lower floor that has a separate entrance. There is soundproofing between the floors to prevent us from bothering each other.

Check in was easy. Home was comfortable. It was perfectly located to what we needed, which was the south waterfront area near Oregon ballet theatre. Enjoyed walks through the neighborhood in the evenings. Only downside is parking. It's explained in check in, but driveway is narrow, steep and rounded. I'm personally not great at backing in, so this space intimidated me. There is one street spot in front of home, but one time we arrived back at home and that spot was occupied.

Wonderful stay. Everything went smoothly. The area is incredibly beautiful. We had family both in Beaverton and Northeast Portland...this location was perfect for both. The house is updated with comfy amenities like brand new washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge. Bathroom was great. Plenty of water pressure and hot water. Warm and cozy atmosphere throughout. Bedrooms were a nice big size with ample closet space and plenty of hangers. I appreciated the computer monitor and HDMI cable to plug into my laptop sooo much! We are coming back to Portland next summer for a wedding, and this home will be the first place we try to stay in if it's available. Price was more than fair. The game closet is PACKED with fun retro games. Amazing forest view out of the back sunroom!

We came in for a concert but did a number of other things. This is a great location central to lots of downtown Portland. Much bigger than we expected and our family of 5 adults was very comfortable. Host is friendly and responsive. Lovely yard and neighborhood at its peak in spring. We loved it.

This is an older 3-bedroom 1-bath house, but it's very comfortable for a small family. It has a modern kitchen well-equipped for cooking dinners and/or breakfasts. It's within five minutes of downtown Portland and all the city has to offer, and it's also conveniently located near freeways that lead out of town either east to the Columbia River or west to the ocean. The owner is very responsive to emails. He replaced a washer and dryer while we were there and turned on the air when the weather started to warm up. HIllsdale offers good amenities, including grocery shopping, gas, ice cream, a wonderful Caribbean restaurant and an organic grocery store. The neighborhood is quite beautiful and very dog friendly. If you're looking for a Portland-based vacation, this is a great spot to start.

What an incredible place to stay. The house is in a great neighborhood (we walked every morning to get fresh air) and its 10 to 15 mins from the downtown. The house has everything you need and the host its very attentive and responsive. We felt like home 🏡

The property is in a lovely neighborhood and a short distance from the grocery store, coffee shop, and restaurant. The owner is responsive. The only comment we would tell others is that the heating system is on remote, so call the owner if you need help. Also, be careful of the lip in front of the fireplace. It can be a tripping hazard if you are not paying attention.

We have an annual friends get-together and we have found this rental to have everything we need for a lovely weekend of card playing. Overall a great stay well worth considering with good bedroom options, a well organized kitchen, a peaceful alcove in the back with views of the forest. Great communication with the listing owner.
