Welcome to a soft landing in Washington DC! Rent this furnished condo for a minimum 31 night stay. Location! Location! You couldn't get closer to the Dupont Metro Station, yet you are on the quite back side of the building and 3 levels up.

Dupont Escape is a recently renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bath condominium in a beautifully restored brick colonial style building in the heart of DuPont Circle, at P and 21st Streets. Featuring light-filled rooms and tasteful furnishings, this third-floor unit is accessible by elevator, or by walking up two flights of stairs. The unit's location is quiet--at the back side of the building, so that you won't be disturbed by street sounds along P St. Close to GWU, Metro Rail, restaurants, Trader's Joe and Kennedy Center, Watergate, World Bank, IMF, GW hospital and Georgetown.
AMENITIES:
* New Smart-TV, fast WIFI and keyless entry.
* Full service gourmet kitchen equipped with all modern amenities and supplied with serving and cooking utensils.
* Fold out sofa accommodates 2 additional guests.

The neighborhood is filled with wonderful restaurants, shops, cafes and grassy parks. On Sundays, the DuPont Circle Farmers Market is one of the largest in the city.
TRANSPORTATION:
The DuPont Circle Metro Station is just 2 blocks away, and bus lines are also convenient (Metrobuses and the DC Circulator). You won't need a car with the great access to public transit from this location! And biking? Capital Bikeshare makes bike rental a breeze.
If you do want to drive (whether for an hour's grocery store run, or a trip outside the city to Monticello or Gettysburg), consider registering online for Free2Move or Zipcar -- flexible alternatives to traditional rental cars. The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.

The stay in the apartment was overall very enjoyable, the location within DC is excellent. It should be noted, however, that there is quite some constant noise and sometimes even vibrations coming from the fans on the roof right above the apartment and from the adjacent hotel. The noise gets especially loud in wintertime.

The property was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. The host was very responsive and questions and great at communicating throughout our stay. Loved the convenient location just a couple blocks from the Metro and super close to all the Dupont Circle restaurants and activities.

We really enjoyed this apartment. It is very well located, close to Dupont Circle and the Metro there, restaurants, grocery stores and a CVS drugstore. It is also close to the Phillips Collection, which we love. The kitchen was quite well stocked, with all the cookware and dishes we needed and even oil, vinegar and some spices in the pantry. A good washer and dryer are right outside the front door of the apartment (in a closet) , with a cleaners downstairs if you are not inclined to do your own laundry. We found the apartment well-lit and cheerful. We were very comfortable staying there for a month. Whenever we needed something or had questions, Charlotte got back to us very quickly. Highly recommended.

The property and location are great. Our problem was with noise. There was nightclub noise emanating from somewhere down 21st street that was too prominent in the bedroom, and a neighbor across the hall had a very loud party one night that went until 2a - we couldn’t sleep at all. Sad outcomes for an otherwise hopeful property.
