During the colder winter months (from December through March), icy and/or snowy road conditions and delayed snowplow operations are possible within the development. We strongly recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles and travel insurance throughout the year, but especially for those staying in the Gateway Mountain development during the winter months. No parking is allowed on roadways or at gate entrances. No RVs, boat trailers, camping trailers, or trailers of any kind are permitted in the Gateway Mountain Community.

This year we decided to go to North Carolina al for our Yearly winter vacation..We found Dancing Bears and were not disappointed, it was just as advertised, away from it all but not too far ..The management team was great and was there to answer any questions we had.Would definitely go back and would recommend it for anyone thinking of taking a trip to the area

The house was beautiful but not up to the normal level we always find with Verbo properties. It was the small things we found annoying and not renter friendly. No ice maker or even ice trays, no fitted sheets- which made our sleeping experiences horrible!, the paper products were very substandard so much that we went to town and bought our own toilet paper and paper towels, along with an 8.00 bag of ice! It would have been nice to have had a few comfortable chairs by the fire pit too. And the popcorn left for us was stale and out of date! Where were the coffee filters? Again, it’s the little things that matter and make for a positive experience!Not sure we’ll ever rent a Greybeard property again.
