With panoramic mountain views from nearly every room, this brand-new mountain oasis was designed to "bring the outside in," with luxurious furnishings, modern conveniences, and an abundance of natural light. Whether you're relaxing on the covered deck overlooking nearly 180-degree mountain views, cozying up around the wood-burning fire pit with distant views of Lake Lure, or writing postcards to loved ones at the dedicated workspace, Bear Ridge Retreat is primed for making memories, and it will be that special vacation spot you'll long to return to time and time again!
About the Home
• Well-equipped kitchen with island seating for 4, wet bar, and coffee station with a drip-style coffee maker and Keurig
• Open-concept living space with dining for 6, desk with 24” computer monitor with adaptors for Macs, 55" Smart TV for streaming, and gas log fireplace
• Spacious, covered deck overlooking stunning, nearly 180-degree mountain views with cozy seating, outdoor dining, and access to park-style grill
• Wood-burning fire pit, with views of Lake Lure in the distance, and long-range mountain views
• This home offers accessibility features with 32" wide doorways on the main floor and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower; there are 3 steps to enter the home
• A whole-house generator provides peace of mind in the event of a power outage
Where to Unwind
• Main floor primary bedroom with king-size bed, en suite bathroom, 40" Smart TV for streaming, and deck access. Full hall bath with a walk-in shower in the entryway.
• Two upper-level bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with a king-size bed; the bedrooms are connected by a full bathroom with private vanity areas and a shared bathtub and shower

Please note: This house is dog-friendly, with a $100.00 non-refundable fee per dog (maximum of two). Sorry, this home is not cat-friendly due to common allergies. To reach this modern mountain cabin, you'll travel along paved mountain roads with a few twists and turns. The driveway is short and gravel, so while 4WD or AWD is recommended, it's not required. We also suggest arriving before dark on your first visit to get comfortable with the community roads—the journey there is all part of the adventure!
