    Perfect getaway. Awesome cabin!

The cabin is conveniently located pretty close to downtown Pigeon Forge. There are some sharp turns and steep hills to get to the property, but nothing too major. The check-in process was smooth and we had no issues there. However, the cabin was a lot smaller than we expected it to be. The master bedroom bed is very uncomfortable and we woke up stiff and hurting pretty much every day. The only other beds in the cabin were bunk beds (we were aware of this prior, just didn’t expect the master bedroom bed to be so awful.) The worst part about the cabin was the bathroom situation. The only shower is located in the guest bedroom. The shower head was GROSS. It looked to have mildew/mold on it and the water reeked. Every time we showered it smelled like rust. The living room was nice but a lot smaller than we expected. There were 5-6 remotes for the tv which seemed to be excessive. The stove was missing a knob, so I’m not sure if you could use it if you needed to or not. The linens appeared to be clean and having a washer/dryer was nice (bring laundry detergent - not complaining about them not providing any.) We could only get one of the arcade games to work. There is no fan in the bedrooms and the ceiling fan in the living room makes a loud noise that does not stop. The back porch was nice. I did not like how the master bathroom had what looked to be an interior door that led out to the back porch with no lock. The porch is completely enclosed with no doors, but it still seemed sort of sketchy (and cold.) There was a deadbolt on the double glass doors that lead to out to the back porch that locked, but the doorknob lock did not work. Overall it was a decent stay, but I would not stay here again.

Pros: not too much driving on steep curvy roads, quiet, close to main roads, bear sighting on property, has washer/dryer Cons: very uncomfortable master bed, only one couch and one lounge chair, only one shower, no instructions for getting arcade games or TV to work (six remotes was very confusing), very dark back porch with minimal view, poorly labeled address sign which made us miss the entrance twice when we arrived at night.

I thought it would be bigger but not a problem. There was something that smelt dead in the master bedroom closet. Couldn’t use washer and dryer as there were no knobs that worked. Also the toilet had a small run to it at night. It could use some updates. But overall it was ok.

We stayed just recently and loved the cabin, unfortunately, the water was out completely for 1 1/2 days of our stay. We were only there for 2 nights. We were unable to wash clothes, take a bath, wash dishes or cook. One of the gaming systems didn't work. We messaged someone who replied that it was after hours. We received a text at 8 the next morning asking if we were still having issues, replied yes, was told to contact someone on Monday, attempted to reach them, have not heard back. I've text 4 other numbers with same and have not heard back from property.
