Pelican Point resort includes 1 Free parking space and heated pool. Located across the street from the powdery white sands of the Gulf of Mexico located in the heart of popular Clearwater beach and just a 10minute walk to Pier 60 for evening entertainment and marina. Relax in this fully furnished studio located on the top 4th floor just 8 steps from the ELEVATOR. 1 queen bed and 1 futon sofa plus kitchenette, full bathroom, linens provided and tropical city view from your window. 2 beach chairs included. Sleeps 2 people comfortably. 2 night minimum required. There is also a laundry room on the first floor for your convenience. Swim at the beach or soak up the sun from the large outdoor pool deck. During your stay be sure to visit some of the many attractions Pinellas county has to offer such as Dunedins Caladesi Island & Knology Park/Raymond James stadium for spring baseball training, Tampa Busch gardens adventure and water park (30minute drive east), Tarpon Springs sponge docks (excellent Greek food 35minutes north), Salvador Dali art museum in St. Petersburg. Local activities include free movies, entertainment & crafts at Pier 60, fishing charters, snorkeling & scuba trips, jet skiing, parasailing and don't forget to visit "Winter the dolphin" at Clearwater beach aquarium (loved by the kids) and plenty of restaurants and shopping. No car needed here for local activities. Just a 30 minute drive from Tampa International airport. Clearwater Marina offers a Pirate Cruise, Calypso Queen or Star Lite Dinner Cruise, Little Toot Dolphin Adventure, Deep Sea Fishing, Sea Life Safari, and Boat Rentals. Tampa Bay Grand Prix - 25 miles, Tampa Aquarium - 27 miles, Big Cat Rescue - 27 miles, Tampa''s Lowry Park Zoo - 30 mile, Hard Rock Casino - 30 miles, Mosi Museum - 95 miles, Kennedy Space Center - 160 mile. We had no idsues the entire 8 days we stayed! Great restaurants, bars & entertainment were brief walks in both directions on the S Gulfvirw Dr side of the hotel.

This is nice condo. It could use a few upgrades such as plug ins on both sides of the bed. The sliding bathroom door doesn’t fit properly with the raised floor. Air fresheners to help the musty smell. We were on the 4th floor which did not have a working elevator for four days. My husband struggled with the steps with bad knees. Glad we had no checked luggage to carry!

Pros - Walking distance to beach and restaurants, room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, on-premise parking space.Cons - No toaster oven as listed (was planning for morning bagels), no guest laundry as listed, 2 beach chairs for the entire complex so we "borrowed" for our 3 day stay, very noisy corridors even after 10pm with no one enforcing any quiet hours.
