The Space:
On River Time is a beautifully decorated 2/2 condo that sleeps 6 at Waterwheel Condominiums. This unit overlooks the large open space of rolling green grass, huge shade tress and a riverside pool along the scenic Guadalupe River near the convergence of the Guadalupe and Comal rivers. There is an elevator for easy access to this 3rd floor condo. Enjoy the spacious open living/ dining room. Prepare for the best nights sleep after a long day on the river! Each of the bedrooms have a brand new pillow top king size bed and a brand new sleeper sofa is in the living room. Dining table seats 6 and there are 2 bar stools at the breakfast bar. Every room has flat screen TVs with Cable and free WiFi. Fully furnished and equipped with everything you would need for a wonderful vacation. High quality linens are provided for all beds and bathrooms. This complex also offers 2 pools, 4 hot tubs, charcoal grills and lush, rolling green space for that resort, get-away feel. Relax on the patio with a glass of wine and let your cares float away!
Rockin' R River Rides only .7 miles away. You can float down the Guadalupe River and get out right by this condo. Walking distance to the famed Schlitterbahn Water Park and less than 1 mile from downtown. Less than 3 miles to historic downtown Gruene. 2 parking spots provided. This condo is on the third floor and does have an elevator. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. You will receive 2 parking passes and 6 wristbands (max amount allowed). This condo has a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed.
**WRISTBANDS & PARKING PASSES REQUIRED*** These condos are individually owned and the owners graciously allow their "second homes" to be rented out and enjoyed! The HOA of the complex had laid out some policies to ensure everyone staying at the complex can have a wonderful time. Because of the fabulous location, we can have trouble with trespassers. The security guards on premise are there to ensure only renters are using the grounds and that guests are parking in the correct parking spaces. Please do not be offended by the wristband and parking pass policies, they are really there to ensure that you have a fabulous time! To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.

The grounds are kept great. It's easy access to the river and perfect if you are wanting to relax and sit. Our condo could use some updating, dryer didn't work, very little cooking utensils, one coffee cup, etc. But the location is fantastic and grounds are fantastic.

Our family has stayed in this property the last 4 years, during the week between Christmas and New Years. We like the location, in a quiet neighborhood, close enough to downtown Ne Braunfels. The Waterwheel Condominiums have a very nice open space in the back, adjacent to the river, where we enjoy BBQing when the weather allows for it. The grills could be improved though, since they are way too small. Downtown New Braunfels is very enjoyable with nice antique shops, and very good cafes, bars and restaurants. The apartment in which we stayed is clean, and comes with all the amenities as stated in its description, but it is a little run down, with a late 1990's feel. No complaints about the AC, hot water or the fridge...they all work fine. We do have two requests we would make to the property owners: 1) the mattress in the main bedroom is really old and lumpy. We could not get a good nights sleep all week. We tried rotating it and changing positions but it is simply very tired. It needs to be changed. 2) The TV in the living room is way too small for the size of the space. The sofa is pretty far from the TV so you end up with a very small image. It needs at least a 50" screen for it to be proportional. If these changes are made, we look forward to spending many more winter holidays at WWD301!

Pleasant condo but needs a little refreshing. There are way too many pillows (we counted 50 including bed pillows and decorative ones), mold in showers and bedroom windows, curtains in master do not adequately cover windows, too many spatulas, tongs, plastic spoons etc. (not enough room in drawers to store them all), dishwasher does not work well, dishes are spotted and do not come clean. They have good cable service and the furnishings are nice and comfortable. Nice amount of silverware and dishes.
