About this house rental
Non smoking residence. Pet friendly. Beautiful, modern 2 bed bungalow with 100 foot mooring, on the banks of the River Thames. Hot Tub, Sauna, Wi-Fi. 1/2 mile to wakeboarding water park www. Liquidleisure.com 4 miles to Lego-land, Windsor and Eton, 5 miles Thorpe Park, London Eye and Westminster 45 mins by car (18 miles), or hop on the train, walk to Sunnymeads Station. 45mi uses into centre of London. (Waterloo) or 10 minutes to Windsor and Eton.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
Large Bedroom with King size bed, sleeps 2 adults.
Smaller 2nd bedroom has a sofabed that sleeps 2, (it's a 4'6" wide sofabed), similar to a small double bed, suitable for children.
There is also a sofabed in the lounge sleeps 2, ( again this folds out to be 4'6" wide).
Ideally, for a really good holiday, the house sleeps 4 comfortably. If you are going to be using it mainly as a base to travel and visit tourist hot spots, then 6 might be okay. But if you bring 6 massive suitcases and you have the sofabeds folded out, you're going to be tripping over each other, remember thete are only 2 wardrobes, so travel light.
This is suited to Mum, Dad and 2-4 children.

Was such a lovely place hot tub was fantastic liked all the interesting memorabilia round the house loved to playing all the old tracks on the jukebox was cool The bottles of Prosecco and the chocolate in the fridge was a nice touch thank you. would definitely recommend staying here was nice sitting there watching the ducks and the swans on the Thames also great communication from the hosts Sharon and Andy

Stunning property right on the Thames. A peaceful and warm residence, pet friendly, sauna, hot tub, with the added bonus of wildlife, including horses that graze opposite, to the ducks and geese swimming by. Not to forget the boats, that pass daily and receive a wave from residents.The bungalow itself was truly a home from home and a place I would definitely return to in a heartbeat, at least 3/4 times a year, for the sheer beauty of the surroundings and ability to shut out the noise and recharge.The host has been an absolute star, leaving complimentary drinks and cakes, not forgetting the chocolates too. I can't praise her enough. If you're reading this Sharon, Thank you just doesn't express my gratitude and that of my family, for allowing us to stay in your home. Not forgetting you too Andy. Thank you for your quirkiness and sense of humour, as portrayed in your book, we didn't stop laughing at your references to experiences you have encountered in your past, from growing up to meeting your amazing partner Sharon. I have even searched online to get my own copy.I was sad to leave, but have every intention of returning and in the not to distant future.I totally and utterly recommend this property stay, whether it's for a quiet getaway on your own, with family, or just friends wanting to catchup, this place is perfect. So all that's left for me to say is get booking, you will NOT be disappointed and have a fabulous time. Sharon & Andy, again a big thank you.With Leigh.x

We loved Sharon and Andy’s cottage. It’s right on the River Thames, and close to numerous historic sites, including Windsor Castle, Eton, the site where the Magna Carta was signed, Roman ruins, and so much more.It is also located within walking distance of the Sunnymead rail station, which is a 1h ride into London and its Underground system.We also enjoyed the hot tub! That was a definite plus, as was learning about Andy’s storied career - you have to stay there to learn about it!Hope to go back some day!

Fantastic location, very private and directly on the river. Very generous welcome wine and chocolates, little touches like Prosecco glasses in the fridge etc. but the property desperately needs some tlc and a deep clean. Basic things like under beds and skirting boards were not cleaned at all…the dust was so thick. we had to hoover above the bed to get rid of cobwebs before sleep and we did a deep clean of the dining pod to use… BUT the hot tub and sauna were spotless so that’s good and the bedding and towels were clean. Very quirky place with lots of effort and great potential… but would prefer to pay more for the stay and them have professional cleaners come in. If you are happy to get the hoover out yourself and clean some things before you settle down for your stay then I’d definitely recommend.
