About this house rental
This cozy cottage is surprisingly spacious and as relaxing as a cool summer breeze. A large corner lot gives the feel of privacy while retaining the convenience of being one block from the beach. The beach access is at the end of a road so very convenient and an easy walk from the house.
There is a sizable deck with a large outdoor shower. The house also has an all-season room to catch the breezes without the bugs. There are four bedrooms and a den with an unusually comfortable futon. The house can easily accommodate 11 sleepers. It's topped off with an amazing cupola that provides a 360 degree view.
Furnished with an understated, casual comfort there are many treasures to discover including antique clocks, and books. There is no better place to experience the ease and freedom of beach life!
Dog Friendly with non-refundable fee and signed addendum (1 dog allowed unless previous approval from owner) Ask your agent for details
Owner will do 3 night stays from September to May. Ask your agent for details.
All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.
Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.
The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.
VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.

We love this place on Broadkill. We have stayed in other places but we like this with the fenced in yard for our dog. It is convenient to the beach and not a far walk. Some of the streets now don’t have much of a beach and others have a long walk to the beach. The place is very comfortable and has everything you would need for a nice stay. We just wish they would do some clean up outside, maybe cut those pines trees in the driveway that get all over the vehicles and make the deck area more appealing by staining it . We couldn’t eat our meals outside because there isn’t a table on the deck anymore. Unfortunately the grass was not cut and our little dog was not happy with the high grass. We probably should have called and asked to have it cut. We still like the property and will be back again. A little outside work would make it so much more appealing.

home is a nice size with 4 bedrooms and extra room has futon that converts to full size bed. kitchen has an odd layout with 3 types of countertops, but it works. Location to the beach is great. front screened-in porch is nice in the morning. Overall, the place needs a deep clean and to replace some throw rugs, blankets and pillow shams.
