Brand New Dock!
Unique round house with stunning 360 degree views directly on the estuary, where you can fish, kayak or take a short walk across the street to enjoy Broadkill Beach. For those looking to relax, the view provides wonderful bird watching across the wildlife refuge at the back door. You can see the sun rise over the bay in the morning, and set behind the preserve in the evening. The exceptional view makes this house like no other and offers a calming environment for not only vacationing, but working or doing virtual school if you crave a change of environment.
There is plenty of room for the whole family to relax in their own space or cozy up on the couch together. The living room is an open rotunda, great for gatherings. Feel free to take advantage of the available puzzles, games and books. The in-law suite on the lower level provides a separate living area with King bed and pull out couch.
Sleep comfortably in one of the 3 king beds, 2 queens or 2 twins, all comfortable and like new condition. Unwind in front of the smart TV in family room with netflix, hulu or amazon prime or laze in front of the TV in the master suite or in-law apartment. Make a homemade meal in the full size kitchen with fully stocked cooking and baking supplies or order pizza from the Broadkill Store.
This portion of Bayshore drive fits only two houses between the beach and estuary. This means more space per family on the beach and a greater sense of privacy, in the water, on the beach, or within the home. There are simply few places in the world that allow a sense of seclusion at the beach, and certainly none as affordable as the Broadkill area.
After a day at the beach, rinse off at our private outdoor shower and store your gear under the covered carport. Enjoy a night out in the small town of Milton, at the local shops or drive into Lewis or Rehoboth beaches, both a short drive from your vacation home.
The BRAND NEW DOCK allows you to easily take out the readily available Kayaks for a family adventure or afternoon escape. Or have a relaxing day fishing or crabbing right off the back yard. Please obtain a very inexpensive fishing license to avoid any fines.
Handicap access available with elevator use upon request. As well as handicap bars in bathrooms.
"Bliss" offers a wonderful spacious environment on a secluded and undiscovered beach only a short drive from popular attractions and shopping.
LINENS NOT INCLUDED. All guests must supply their own sheets, blankets, towels and beach towels.

This is a beautiful home run by a good family. It is clean, the kitchen well stocked and the views are unbeatable. We have stayed here several years and just keep coming back. Highly recommend.

We genuinely enjoyed our stay and made wonderful family memories despite several unexpected issues.The home is spacious, well stocked, and has beautiful views of the nature preserve. The screened porch, kayaks, ping pong table, games, and dock for crabbing were highlights. We caught 15–30 crabs daily, and the kids loved it! A few things to know: the beach access isn’t directly across from the house. We had to walk several houses down and over sand dunes, which was difficult with a loaded beach wagon and six kids. The detached in-law suite has a separate entrance, which wasn’t ideal for our planned sleeping arrangements. There were a few cleanliness issues with bugs and dirty dishes in the cabinets. We also experienced several maintenance issues: the refrigerator water/ice dispenser didn’t work upon arrival, a GFI outlet nearly caught fire, the TV in the in-law suite was broken, and the biggest issue was losing air conditioning for about 24 hours during hot, rainy weather. It was awful and uncomfortable. That being said, the property manager handled repairs as quickly as possible. The hosts were initially responsive but stopped communicating after we updated them on the repairs. I understand that unexpected maintenance issues happen in any home, but after multiple repairs that had to occur, I was surprised that there wasn’t any follow-up or acknowledgment of the inconvenience, or even a gesture of goodwill.
