About this apartment rental
The apartment is located in the exclusive, well maintained and popular residential complex Residencia Cala Dorada in the district of Cala Egos the beautiful resort of Cala D'or in the southeast of Mallorca.
The stylishly furnished apartment is located on the top floor of the two-storey building. An open living-dining area, a bedroom, a bathroom and a 16qm large terrace spread over approximately 75sqm.
The dining area has a well-equipped kitchen (stove with ceramic hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave), and a dining area for 6 people. The living area with access to the sun terrace is equipped with an LCD TV with satellite connection for German channels and a DVD player.
The bedroom has a double bed and a built-in wardrobe. The bathroom has a bath, a shower, two sinks and a toilet.
The large terrace overlooking the pool and the gardens is perfect for enjoying the al fresco dining (1 table, 4 chairs). 2 sun loungers invite you to relax. A big sunscreen gives enough shade.
The holiday complex, which is equipped with many communal facilities, such as the lobby, in-house bistro / café, sunbeds, table tennis, etc., especially impresses with its pool area with a 50 m long swimming pool, waterfalls, jacuzzi and children's pool as well as a lush, Mediterranean garden landscape. The complex is self-contained and accessible only to residents with a key code. Close to shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs for couples, it is also popular with families with children.
The Residencia Cala Dorada is located in a privileged position just a few meters from the impressive coast and within walking distance of the beaches of Cala Egos and Caló d'es Pou. A short walk of a few minutes leads to the picturesque, exclusive marina of Cala D'Or Marina with numerous restaurants and bars. In the immediate vicinity are the shops for daily shopping (a small supermarket is just across the street from the complex), restaurants, boutiques, pharmacy and much more.

Lovely quiet complex, beautiful grounds, swimming pool warm enough for adults but too cold for young children. Close to small beaches, within walking distance of a pretty harbour. Would probably need a car if you stayed longer.

Property is situated in a nice resort with well kept gardens , a pleasant cafe/bar for lunches and small evening meals. The apartment was at top of two long flights of stairs which we found difficult to manage at times, particularly with several pieces of luggage.
Apartment was functional if not a little tired. TV was only in German and we were unable to connect to our laptop to stream any English programmes. Several of the lights in the apartment were not functioning keeping it rather dark in the evenings. Luckily the large bed was comfortable as my wife and I both suffer from back pain if beds are uncomfortable.

Lovely apartment, bathroom a little dated but very serviceable. Everything we needed for our stay. Stairs were a challenge for my husband as he has mobility issues, no lift. Great location. Fabulous poor and pool bar.

The unit is decent and as described. Great location on Mallorca and close to everything. The resort setting was nice and a very close walk to town and restaurants/shopping. I would definitely stay in this area again but would NOT rent from this owner. We had problems getting into the unit at the scheduled time because the previous guests locked the keys in the unit vs. the lock box. The owner would not answer his phone, respond to email, or respond to the Whatsapp message that we got confirmation of him reading. Luckily we were able to track down a maintenance man for the complex who let us into the unit. We understand things happen but the no communication stance the owner took was unacceptable. We had concerns as there were no bed sheets on the bed nor in the unit, 1 flat pillow per person, 1 small shower towel and hand towel per person, no WIFI as advertised, 1 small roll of TP for 2 people for 3 days. It seemed very cheap, instead of inviting. The owner finally responded about 6 hrs after my first attempt to contact saying that he contacted his cleaner and everything was in order as it should be. His solution to the WIFI issue was for us to jump on the neighbors WIFI which he provided me the password for. We didn't feel comfortable as they were there and not sure if they were aware of sharing. Again, the location is great in a nice, safe complex. However, guests are given the bare minimum in hospitality items.
