About this apartment rental
Philoxenia Flat · Athens
A quiet home in the heart of ancient Athens — where the Acropolis is not just nearby, it is part of your view.
Tucked into the second floor of a characterful building on Makrigianni Street — one of the most storied addresses in the city — this apartment is a place to arrive and immediately feel at ease. The neighbourhood moves at a human pace. There are bakeries, tavernas, and the kind of streets that reward slow walking.
Step outside and you are a breath away from the Acropolis Museum and the Metro. Step onto the rooftop terrace and the Acropolis itself is almost close enough to touch — best with a morning coffee, or a glass of wine as the sun goes down.
Plaka, Monastiraki, and Syntagma are all a short, pleasant walk away. Everything you came to Athens for is right here.
WE ARE HERE
Available around the clock — for airport transfers, local recommendations, or simply a question. You will never feel like a stranger here.

We throughly enjoyed the apartment, it was clean, great and well prepared for our visit.
Everything about the home was explained and was provided excellent reference.
So close to everything like the metro, restaurants and Acropolis museum.
I would absolutely stay here again for a trip of any length of time.

Great location with wonderful communication! The flat was perfect for our family of four.

The location was perfect. Easy access to everything. Cleanliness of unit needed to be addressed. The bedding was dirty upon arrival and we had to change our sheets ourselves. We were thankful we were able to have additional sheets to do that with. The unit needs a deep clean. The host was very accommodating with arranging our transportation to and from airport. Again you couldn’t ask for a better location to stay.
