Welcome to the Kataluma Inn, a cozy woodland cabin retreat in just outside of Sandpoint Idaho.
Enjoy seclusion, mountain air, and abundant wildlife with easy access to hiking, biking, skiing/snowboarding, and Lake Pend Oreille. Just 7 miles from downtown Sandpoint and the Schweitzer shuttle.
Features include a loft bedroom (with a Queen-Sized Bed), parlor stove, heated bathroom floors, full kitchen, and covered porch.
Pet-friendly and perfect for a peaceful getaway year-round.
Down the private driveway, you will find the welcoming covered porch, perfect for sipping a favorite drink and relaxing.
Stepping inside, the craftsmanship and character of the space will make you feel as though you've stepped into the pages of a familiar storybook.
You will find everything you need including a full kitchen, smart Roku TV, dining area, full bathroom with in-floor heating, gas fireplace, BBQ, loft bedroom, fast Starlink Wi-Fi, Etc.
For cycling enthusiasts, the cabin sits in the heart of the Selle Valley—known for its scenic, low-traffic country roads and well-maintained gravel routes. Whether you're out for a relaxed ride or logging serious miles, you’ll find quiet, rolling terrain right from the driveway.

“Kataluma” or “κατάλυμα” is Greek for a place to lodge, lodging place, guest room, inn, guest chamber, camping area, or oasis. Or basically ancient Greek version of an Airbnb!

This cabin was absolutely a dream come true! I needed a quiet place to rest and this cabin was so sweet and cozy. Every area is well thought out and you can really feel the love and thoughtfulness that went into every detail of the space. I loved every minute of my stay
