What's better than your own Ski Chalet? Located at the base of Schweitzer and only 2/10 mile from the shuttle stop is your own little Switzerland. Enjoy the fantastic views out of the all around windows and cozy up to the gas fireplace in the winter or the expansive patio deck to enjoy nature in the summer. Enjoy the fabulous restaurants and town of Sandpoint just minutes away. Just across the road is a lazy river where you can sit and fish, or enjoy the sound and beauty of nature's finest. Nestled at the base of Schweitzer Mountain start each day with glorious mountain views and wild neighbors such as Bald Eagles, Deer, Turkey and Moose right out your front door. 3 Spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms complete your stay to make it comfortable. There is a large kitchen with cooking staples as well as an array of pots and pans, dishes etc. Set in a swiss chalet theme, our home should be all you need to enjoy your stay here in Sandpoint. Just 5 minutes from Ponderay stores and restaurants and 10 minutes to downtown Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille. The central location as well as the location to the mountain make this home a perfect place to stay. Our unit is stylish and cozy to accommodate every taste. We provide all linens, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, pots & pans, bowls, plates, cups, silverware, dish soap cooking staples a barbecue (gas) etc. The only thing you should need is your clothes, your gear, food, drink and your adventurous spirit!

We had a wonderful stay! This place was exactly as pictured. We had dogs and they loved playing in the large fenced yard. The deck was wonderful for relaxing and gathering around the table for outside meals. The inside was very cozy with the downstairs bedrooms separate from the primary bedroom upstairs. A cozy tv viewing area with a large couch was also great. Lots of amenities available… hair dryers, hair irons, coffee pot options, good pots and pans for cooking and cooking supplies including spices - these were very convenient. Next time, we’d love stay in the winter and go up skiing since it’s just at the base of the mountain with easy access to a shuttle service too. Owners were gracious, available and quick to respond to our needs. A

This is a beautiful property. We stayed there with our young adult kids. They loved it. The location was convenient to activities but also quiet and private for family dinners. The yard and outdoor sitting area is lovely.

Property was clean and well decorated and the kitchen was well stocked. Liked Alexa device in kitchen. Bathrooms were clean and everything worked. For the senior guests, note that the major bedroom and TV area were up a tall set of stairs. And, watch out for the "slanted ceiling" upstairs. Property had a nice outdoor (west facing) deck with "sail" cover for shade and nice lawn. There was no access to the garage. Would be helpful if there were more/better instructions for TV. Property had a very inclusive "Guest Book," covering property and surroundings. Communication with Host was perfect pre-visit. On second day had an issue and had difficulty contacting Host, but, issue was resolved with no problem. This was our first time visiting Sandpoint area and was not aware of the trains running through this area. A big surprise the first time one came by. Description of property had me thinking we would be in a secluded area, it wasn't. Overall, a good location for touring Sandpoint area and Switzer Mountain ski resort.
