Great location and very nice place. It was well stocked and clean. We walked to town everyday and really enjoyed the location. For me, walking up and enjoying a good cup of coffee in the morning on the porch is the way I relax. I’m a bit of a coffee snob and brought my own fresh roasted beans and hand grinder hoping to enjoy my morning ritual. The coffee maker in the place is really, really bad. I looked it up and it is literally a 20 coffee maker. The quality beans I brought tasted terrible brewed in this coffee maker. I would suggest to Outpost/property owner to buy a decent coffee maker. To get a good one is not much money and paying 8k for a week stay would seem that it could be afforded. We had some issues initially as they were replacing windows in the master bedroom the day we arrived. We were pulling in at 4pm and got a text saying it would be closer to 5:30 as a result of the window replacement. Not a big deal as we decided to go to the grocery while we waited. We arrived back and all was good. I was hoping to watch the Open Championship but cable was out. We notified Outpost and they communicated quickly. After a couple of days of no TV they sent someone out to put in a Roku. Finally on the last night of our week stay the cable was fixed. Again, not a huge deal because we were out most of the time hiking and fishing. But just would have been nice when we got home to relax a bit to a show.Overall, I would rent again.
