So you are probably wondering, what in the heck is Bar 7-K. Bar 7-K is the sheep
brand that my family used on their ranch located not far from the Colorado border in
Southwestern Wyoming on Coyote Creek,. My family ran sheep and the ranch consisted of the main house, a bunkhouse, wash house, and barn. My great grandfather,
great grandmother and great uncle Max ran the ranch, but it was mostly Max who did
the work. When my dad and his brothers had ranch duty, one of their jobs was to carry
water to the kitchen as there wasn’t any plumbing. Same was true of the wash house.
Our Bar 7-K is a bit more hospitable than the original – we hope you enjoy your stay!
