Local restaurants and taco stands offer plenty of ways to refuel between adventures, while the laid-back atmosphere makes it easy to slow down. Whether you’re planning an active getaway or a quiet desert escape, 30 Knots is a comfortable base for exploring El Sargento and neighboring La Ventana.


Guests have private access to the full 30 Knots house for the duration of their stay, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas. The house is self-contained — no shared interior spaces and no hosts on-site.

Outside, the hot tub is yours throughout your stay — set up for sunset soaks with the bay in front of you. The decks and outdoor living areas are also fully private to 30 Knots guests.

The 30 Knots side is also home to the game room: shuffleboard, Golden Tee, foosball, darts, and a pinball machine, all included with the rental.
In the guest storage you will find SUP boards, beach chairs, sun shades, snorkel gear, a rolling cooler and beach games for guest use.

A rental car is helpful for exploring El Sargento, La Ventana, and the surrounding area.
Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), in San José del Cabo, is approximately a two-hour drive from the property. You can rent a car or arrange an airport transfer. La Paz International Airport (LAP) is another option, approximately 45–60 minutes away by car.
Drive times vary with traffic. If you plan to arrive without a rental car, we recommend arranging your transfer in advance.

The homes were designed with sustainability in mind and built from single-trip shipping containers. Across the property, 20 kWp of solar panels typically generate 75–100+ kWh per day, depending on conditions. A 35 kWh battery system stores energy for overnight use and provides backup during local power outages. Our Bio-Aqua biodigester treats wastewater for reuse through deep-drip landscape irrigation, reducing demand for fresh water in our desert environment. We continue to look for ways to reduce our environmental footprint and preserve the beauty of El Sargento and the surrounding area.
