Villa Mapache (Raccoon Villa) is one of five villa suites in the Villas Zamna Cozumel complex. While we are new to VRBO, you can find our reviews on other platforms and our website. Your reservation includes a premium breakfast, which can be served in your villa or enjoyed at the main palapa.

Our newest villa suite is designed as a honeymoon suite. It includes an indoor plunge pool with a glass ceiling for your enjoyment at any time. You can also relax on your private balcony in a hammock while taking in the refreshing jungle breeze.
We are just 15 minutes from the airport and can take care of your transportation needs by working with trusted operators on the island. If you need a pick-up at the airport or ferry terminal, you can book it with us, and they will be waiting for you upon your arrival. We also offer car, scooter, or bike rentals that can be delivered right to the villas. Additionally, we can arrange massages at the villas, private dinners, and tours, or provide recommendations for things to do on the island. As locals, we know all the best spots.
On the property, you'll find a small store offering snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. There are also restaurants just a 5-minute drive away on the east side of the island, which close at 6:00 PM. Notable options include Punta Morena, Mezcalitos, and Señor Iguanas.

The villa is just off the road (highway) connecting west and east side of island. Enough out of town to make you feel like you're in the jungle. The birds and lizards are super cool too see and hear as you eat the breakfast made by the onsite chef and brought to your villa in the morning. The host was really great at getting us everything we needed such as rental car, ebikes, suggestions on the island and activities. The villa itself was so clean and with the a/c was very comfortable. The inside pool we had was just warm enough you could sit in it and just cool enough to cool you off after the hot day. It is truly a wonderful place to stay on the island. We were able to cruise the east side of the island and take a dip and another day enjoy one of the beach clubs on the west side of the island. This villa is perfectly located. Provides privacy, amenities and the nicest staff you've ever meet! Stay, you won't be disappointed.
