Dale was a wonderful host with quick responses. The house was perfect for what we were looking for, clean and wonderful view. We enjoyed sitting in the morning watching the sunrise over the lake.

Beautiful home right on Lake Superior. Very responsive owner and we had a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again!

On the positive side, the home’s updates and décor are lovely, the views phenomenal, the deck and bonfire set up well done, and the closets had lots of hangers!
However, despite the positive VRBO reviews, the overall cleanliness was disappointing. The closets held a good amount of clothing, something we’ve never experienced with other rentals. The refrigerator’s ice maker wasn’t working. When we texted the owner, we were told we’d have to make the ice ourselves as the maker wasn’t hooked up. (The ice maker was immediately deleted from the VRBO’s description). While cute to look at, the tiny metal chairs at the dining table were extremely uncomfortable to use for any length of time. The only drawers in any of the bedrooms were in two bedside tables in the larger upstairs bedroom. Both were filled with crumpled pajamas.
That said, the home’s positive points can’t be denied. We had a great time during our stay.
