Check in was easy. The kitchen is large and had enough pots pans and utensils. We mostly enjoyed the lake swimming, boating & paddle boarding. We rented the boat at Bottle Bay Marina.

The patios and dock were great places to hang out with the family. We brought our jet skis and really enjoyed exploring the lake. The dock provided secure hook ups for the skis. Lots of areas to hike and walk around. The rental company responded in a timely matter when we reached out with questions.

The Sagle house was amazing. We had four adults and four kids (ages 7-10).There was plenty of space for everybody. There’s no TV upstairs in the meeting seating area or open common room, which was fabulous because the kids were able to go downstairs and watch Netflix or a movie in the TV area downstairs near the bedrooms, while the grownups stayed upstairs and caught up or played games. There was plenty of space for everybody to do their own thing, whether it was read or puzzle or cook or just enjoy the beautiful view. We skied at Schweitzer for four of the 7 days we were here, and it was only about a 40 minute trip to the mountain. The road getting to the house was icy and there are some switchbacks, which was fine because we had 4WD, but that’s something to be aware of. We would highly recommend this.

Ten people in our family enjoyed swimming and boating with our own private dock. The water is clean and the dock is sturdy. We rented a boat at the nearby Battle Bay Marina.
There were some maintenance issues. Example: broken blinds, broken fridge drawer, patio door that won’t close completely. We easily maneuvered around them and it did not impact our stay. A previous review states that they are planning in bringing in central air conditioning. This would be a major improvement as the house has direct sun exposure for most of the day and it gets toasty.
We’d stay here again but I noticed the price is 3x higher next summer for the same dates. I sure hope they get the maintenance issues addressed as the view and swimming are top notch.
