Welcome to Tahquitz Chalet! Nestled in a serene mountain setting, this charming chalet-style cabin blends rustic coziness with modern comfort. Relax on the expansive front deck, taking in sweeping views of treetops and ridgelines. Inside, enjoy high, open-beamed pine ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and a sliding door that opens to the deck, enhancing indoor-outdoor living. The outdoor space features new seating, a dining area, and a hot tub tucked behind the cabin.
The main level offers a cozy living room, a quaint kitchen, and a spacious bedroom with a King-sized bed. A full bathroom completes this level. Upstairs, the loft bedroom offers tree-top views through a large picture window and another King-sized bed for a restful night’s sleep.
Tucked away in the pines, this retro cabin is private and peaceful. With just two steps up into the home, it offers easy access and a relaxing mountain retreat.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January
- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.
Parking: Free parking is available for 2 vehicles (Seasonal Restrictions Apply; chains are recommended in winter, and 4X4 is HIGHLY Recommended). During winter months, the steep driveway can become icy.

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.
- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.
- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.
- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.
- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.
Guests booking this home under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.
